Daniel Talia wouldn't be enjoying watching Jonathan Patton in this preseason game.
I reckon Talia is well suited to handle Patton. Cameron is perhaps a bit too nippy for him.

No no their right. That shows you how good their CHFs have been since the Tredrea days, that they have to make stuff up.The Greg Denham article is well received on the port board, as expected. My favourite is the person who claims Dixon's goalless game against Collingwood that is called mediocre in the article was "widely considered to be one of the most influential true CHF games since Tredders was a pup" which is extremely special since he was playing at full forward.
"The poor on-field performances of powerhouse clubs Collingwood, Richmond and Essendon last season and their failure to make the finals also hurt the AFL’s bottom line."
Oh great. Look for them to try and fix that one...
Wouldn't purchasing Etihad be a balance sheet transaction and not impact the P&L?
Would think so.... but depends on what kickbacks they paid.Wouldn't purchasing Etihad be a balance sheet transaction and not impact the P&L?
I still want to know what advice the AFLPA gave to these young players.

Also, probably had to take out a loan with interest payments.
So the loss was nothing to do with docklands, but rather another $10M paid for the northern clubs.http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-ne...on-to-buy-etihad-stadium-20170218-gufz8r.html
"he loan with the National Australia Bank and ANZ was not included as part of the 2016 financial report as settlement was "after balance sheet date"."
I had a huge amount for Hird in the beginning. Until he lied about taking responsibility. Every action since that point in time has led to the position he now finds himself. I do feel for him, and his family, but there is only one way he can come out of this in a better place, and that's to admit and understand his role in the whole saga.Like with Jimmy Hird?![]()

Not sure why they would do that & would be unusual.Would depend on if they took on maintenance costs before settlement.

Bit like Trigg blamed AFC's loss on everything but the reasons for the loss for anyone who looked at the financial statements. Wasn't a good look to say the loss was due to higher admin fees spent on lawyers, etc after tippett-gate or the loss of sponsorship that resulted.Perhaps since the swap was mid season they made the transfer immediately to capitalise off profits from games, or to save clubs from having to send money to the stadium owners. You'd think there would have to be something related to Etihad that cost them money for them to blame their loss on it. It wouldn't be a blatant lie, there would be some evidence to back up the claim even if it's just an excuse.
They struggled massively after half time when Jaeger went off.
He was the entire Hawthorn midfield in the first half and played well
Koch issues ultimatum in the rag.
Wear white or you’re out!
PORT Adelaide has issued Gold Coast an ultimatum to wear it’s white clash strip in their historic match in China or the deal is over.
