And Richmond's fixture wasn't easy?
I still can't understand how you justify taking the advantage which Geelong deserved, (if you have a problem with their draw then that's another argument entirely) and handing it to Richmond. All because Richmond have this huge supporter base and you're worried that their fans won't get to watch the game.
If the Eagles and Dockers would have played a prelim against each other in 2015 how many fans of both sides do you reckon would not have gotten tickets? Are you going to cry for them that they didn't get to watch the game? It can happen.
And I haven't been brainwashed. I just want to see a fair league. The more I watch this game the more results feel pre-determined, almost like I am watching WWE.
Richmond's fixture was no easier than all Melbourne teams have to face. They travelled interstate 6 times and to Kardinya Park once. They played interstate teams at home 5 times. The rest of the games were against teams from Melbourne so there was no advantage or disadvantage,
The whole idea that Geelong
deserve an advantage is frankly moronic and makes you sound like a hayseed from Sleepy Hollow. They get between two and five more wins every year as a direct result of a favourable draw. To try to palm it off as another argument is missing the point.
You also seem to have missed the point that if the game was played in Geelong, the Richmond fans would still have outnumbered the Geelong fans. And drowned them out, just like a small contingent of Freo fans did in 2013. Handbaggers are soft.
Allowing fans a chance to see the game is important.
If the Eagles and Dockers played against eachother many fans would have missed out, because there was no alternative. It would have been unavoidable. Luckily for Victorians they have a 100,000 seat ground, which also happens to be the place you have to win at if you want to win a grand final.
The brainwashed comment was a response to your claim that fans are brainwashed into accepting an idea that you don't agree with. If you want to see a fair league, why are you on Geelong's side? They've the most advantages of any team and whinge the most of any side. An entitled club with entitled supporters.
