Dont worry his mate is betting that we win 13 games... for the record we won 12 this year. Dont think we will win more than that.
That bet is locked in...The other bet being offered, that WC finish above us in 2018.

I doubt we can finish much higher than this year,so I'll pass on the other bet...

I'd rather get smashed by a 100 points developing kids than trying to delay the inevitable by importing delisted players and then getting found out in the second week of the finals.

What was all that about?

And the performances yet again of Jetta, Le Cras, Kennedy, Darling, Wellingham and Cripps in a finals game cannot be ignored.
You forgot elliot 'fyfe' yeo...becoming parkeresque in his form between regular season and post season

Surprised you finished as low as you did this year. Your squad looks good on paper.
Our best 18 - 22 is pretty good but still a little inexperienced. We are very competitive (beat or ran close 3/4 of the teams remaining on their home decks) when our best 10 or so play well and horrible when they don't.

It drops off in a massive hurry after that. Unless we bring in significant mature talent this trade period I don't think it will change in 2018. 2019 we will be getting dangerous again.

I think South Freo have a real shot today. Much prefer to be watching them vs Peel next Sunday @ Domain. Carn Bulldogs!
If they can consistently run and move the ball through Kelly, Garlett and Edwards like they did in the 4th against Peel they should win. But yeah Subi favourites for sure.

Yeah they looked great when they took the game on against Peel (game was over by then mind you). Half their team are instinctive players imo - need to not over engineer it. A bit like Freo this year.

Subi well on top now. Hard to see South getting it back on their terms. They just don't look like scoring atm. Had there chance early but didn't make the most of it.

Souths had more than double the marks of Subi and a handful more disposals but lack efficiency and have all year. They've beaten less talented sides by pure weight of numbers but equally talented sides that are more efficient in moving the ball beat them.
