Has anyone read this on AFL.com yet: http://www.afl.com.au/news/2017-04-03/eaglessaints-free-kick-count-given-tick-of-approval

"The Saints were on the wrong end of the 23-8 differential, and it led to calls that Perth teams continually get the rub of green when playing at Domain Stadium."

Just wtf?!?!?!? Have we ever had a free kick differential in our favour anything even remotely close to that?
Just read that. Briefly considered the melt thread.

We're in for it again next week, the umps will be bending over backwards to ensure Perth teams aren't given any special advantage at home.

Especially with the Dogs current dream run. I'd be happy to see a free kick count of 3-41. I'm sure we wont deserve 1 per quarter and the Dogs deserve at least 10 per quarter for playing pretty football.

Once if my memory serves me correctly. In a game v Essendon when we flogged them. About 22-6.

Edit: It was 18-6 in 2014 Happens so rarely i remember it.

I've pretty much given up on the 360 until they ever at least get rid of Robbo the slob that obviously hardly bothers to watch any games (although preferably Twateley the pencil neck with the creepy horse fetish as well). The show is an absolute joke.

OTC is worth watching still at least.

Yeah agree, though even that show can sometimes be too cleaver by half - and really don't like Dunstall. He's yet another so called expert who knows nearly nothing about any team outside of Victoria, and even those in Vic (Hawks aside) is a stretch, yet his opinions are rated for some strange reason even when most of them are completely unoriginal and pulled from either thin air or mindless gossip.

Non footy topic - anyone here watch WrestleMania?
Yes. Was better than I was expecting but NXT Takeover as usual pissed all over the main roster PPV.

The way they let The Undertaker bow out at the end was beautifully done and a great way for him to retire. It is just a shame he was retired by that talent-less campaigner.

Yeah AFL 360 is complete shite. It was the last straw to make me give up on Foxtel.

Also wish Whateley would **** off from Offsiders on the ABC. Recently there was an episode where over 10 minutes was spent crapping on about the so called 'sport' of horse racing.

Since Freo entered the competition in 1995, they have a Free Kick Differential (Total Team Frees For - Total Team Frees Against) of -250 ... for that same period West Coast have +869.
Since 2003 (inclusive) the difference is Freo -182 & West Coast 804.
2001 was the last year in which Freo had a better Free Kick differential than West Coast for any given year (2000 is the only other year in the history of the Fremantle FC).

EDIT: Sorry, but I realised I had the wrong stats for the year 2015 in my calculations. The revised numbers are actually;
Since Freo entered the competition in 1995, they have a Free Kick Differential (Total Team Frees For - Total Team Frees Against) of -291 ... for that same period West Coast have +932.
Since 2003 (inclusive) the difference is Freo -223 & West Coast 867.
