Then you also had sutty,Dawson,ibbo to spoil the party .5 direct turn over result in goal is enough to lost a game .
If Deluca plays it could possibly be the strongest midfield Peel has had all season (think he'll be in the Freo team or emergency though). Thumbs down to Sutty as AFL half back atm but he's a solid ball winner in the middle at WAFL level - likewise with DPearce and even Suban. Dawson and Ibbo solid defenders. They may be past it at AFL level but they are more than capable of playing their roles at Peel.

I expect less to be honest , it will be suck to lost to East freo who only win one game all season.
When was the last time Freo did something like that?
Well that changed everything. Suban playing and Sutty likely the travelling emergency now means a weakened midfield for Peel. Maybe Humble will get another shot? Expecting Hughes and Collins to dominate from defence again though with Nyhuis, Duman and Ibbo assisting.

Duman and t.bennell will move to mid /wing if Ethan and Collins not travelling..

Geez... Dion Anthony with 26 disposals and 2 goals for East Freo against Peel in the Reserves and it's not even half time yet! Peel still winning after Milward got warmed up and kicked 2.

At the risk of offending Pokers, I have to say Taberner is doing absolutely nothing to justify a call up. He is playing a terrible, soft, lazy and fumbly game. Most dangerous tall forward is Zac Dawson - yes, you read that right. His endeavour and hardness is a real contrast to Tabs.
Ibbo is having a poor game, as is Danyle Pearce. Hughes getting a fair bit of it but geez his disposal is very poor today.
Upside, Strnadica is playing really well. Holding his own in the ruck, has taken some strong contested marks around the ground and saved a couple of goals.
Duman and Nyhuis playing well, Collins has been OK.

Tbf, Tabs normally only starts to get going in the second half.
Lucky that we are playing the bottom team on the ladder, because Peel have been butchering the ball. Hughes great first quarter but quiet second. Taberner doesn't seem interested today.

Peel have stopped. They didn't even kick a goal that quarter. Talk to them Shepherd!!! No one wants to lead, no one even looks like kicking a goal. Ibbotson is a liability out there.

Bit of a meh game. Probably only notable positives were no injuries and Humble taking his opportunity. Don't think the bye and lots of changes helped but should have done better regardless. Think we'll learn more next week.
