Alright draft profiles:

Callan England:

Strong runner who gets a good bit of the pill and can break lines. I don't mind him in the middle, but he'll start as a winger.

He'll start in the SANFL, but I reckon he's a better pick-up then I've seen others rate him, a personal pick.

Stefan Giro:

Pocket rocket who has a good tank and a killer left peg. He's short, and his forward game isn't outstanding, but I reckon his inside game is better than his weight and height stats indicate.

Zac Fisher-esque.

Jordan Butts:

Good hands, I like how he moves although he isn't quick, has a good tank for a tall. Versatile, can play either end, very young, the youngest in the draft, so a lot of scope and probably a bit of physical development in the first few years.

I am very into a certain player, rated him well-before Butts, didn't want to lose a KPD though

He's a 200cm contested marking beast, who's a decent ruck and a excellent ball winner. He's tall, and at 98 kgs he's practically ready to go.

Why is he available this late? His endurance sucks. It doesn't suck as much as the number one draft pick but it's pretty bad. There's no point playing a ruckman who can't contest the ball because they're too busy lying on the ground, gasping for breath and crying for mummies cuddles (not the GWS Mummy. His cuddles are... Uncomfortable).

So work to be done on endurance, but that's fixable in a professional program.

Sounds good right? He only played 3 games this year.

Sounds bad right? He also averaged 24.4 possessions a game in the SANFL reserves. Yeah I could probably do that too but for a teenager coming off an injury that's not bad.

He's also a good user the ball and moves well. Apparently he has leadership qualities but I question the opinion of a 30 year old who looks to 17 year olds for leadership.

He's a good pickup at this late stage. Got plenty of upside.

I would still like Carlton to take this guy at 30 along with a couple of others. Think he suits us at that pick. I decided to not pick him for the Cats a) because they have sorta different needs and b) i wanted to see where Walker would go without me picking him.

Needless to say i'm surprised he got this far. Gonna watch with interest how he goes on Friday. Good pick imo esoteric.

I think I speak for everyone when I say I wish I could see more Butts.

Pick 63 - Collingwood - Tyler Brown

Skinny F/S prospect, but held his own in the TAC this year. Can football, can sidestep (repeatedly), has some pace but will likely gain more once he gets his weight over 75 kgs (187/71 according to the AFL website).

Weights his kicks beautifully and understands how to generate marks inside 50 by quickly identifying targets and catching the defence off-guard. Doesn't earn much possession, but he'd probably snap in two in a tackle at present. All about the upside with Tyler, who should carve out a long career with the Pies if he puts the work in.
