I really can't believe people signed up for this and didn't consider the idea of sending in preferences if they weren't going to be able to log on 2-3 times a day. I guess next year's phantom will have a giant **** off disclaimer in the sign-up thread.
Gotta get through 85 yet! Good idea though, is he still available, and can he run through the midfield?

Northern Knights - VIC Metro
‘Fed’ is a chance to picked up late after a ripper finish to the year for Northern, which saw him come home with a wet sail to take out their Best & Fairest from just 10 games ahead of captain Nick Coffield. He’s a good size at 184 and doesn’t need to spend much time in the gym – already weighing in at 77kg and spent 2017 developing his craft as an inside midfielder, something he relished.
Alex is a solid footballer, who makes quick decisions though not necessarily an athlete. But he goes in hard and is courageous and is quite good overhead. He averaged 25 touches and a whopping 9.5 tackles a game in the end for the Knights, as well as winning the APS title with Marcellin.
Federico also got a taste of VFL action – debuting for the Northern Blues mid-year and was close to breaking into the U18 Championship-winning VIC Metro side, listed as emergency twice. He did appear in the May trial against the Allies, however. In that game, he tallied a game-high 13 contested possessions and 20 disposals overall.
The Marcellin midfielder enjoyed a good year all round, though after chatting to an AFL club – it was clear that Federico needed to improve his power, explosiveness and speed. But the 18 year old has some very draftable traits and the drive to make it. Federico has “loved footy as long as he can remember” and is committed to improving his game to make it at the top level should he make it onto an AFL list. Place him in an elite environment with a history of developing players and he could become a very handy player. Not to mention, the Swans have a history of taking players with deficiency and turning them into guns, with their rookie draft success well known.
