That's potentially a good rule. Except for Maxy. I got him halfway through last year and I can't actually see a team ever in my future without him.

The pair of Jacobs and Stef, a bargain for 110+ potential, will set you back under $1,000,000


Stef played forward for a few weeks after his injury this season, sneaky chance at ruck/fwd dpp?

Obviously it'll all depend on the rest of my team and the strength of the cheap rookies available, but I can see myself going in with 2 cheaper options


One thing that is guaranteed, after learning my lesson this year, is I'll be starting with a ruck/fwd dpp rookie at R3

Problem for next year is will the returning essendon boys be fresh from a year off or start slow from having no match fitness and touch.

I'd love to start with Hibberd and Ryder but they would have to be cheap to make it worth the risk.
