That's at least a better matchup than
Batman vs Superman

How the h3ll would a normal guy dressed in a bat suit with just a few gadgets in a utility belt beat a man of steel from a different planet who can fly faster than a speeding bullet?

any chance Fyfe gets M/F next season? He seemed to play a fair bit forward before he went down (from my hazy memory).

What about Robbie Gray? Any chance of M/F?

Also, I haven't watched Zorko much, did he play enough forward to keep F/M?
Fyfe - no chance.
Gray & Zorko - Maybe but probably unlikely.

Gibbons will be a very handy rookie next year provided clubs pull their heads out of their arse and stop passing on him because he's "too small".

Why is Grundy a lock for most teams? I don't see the massive upside here or am I missing something?
missing something.

tore games apart against the best rucks. most notably, GWS v Collingwood, Grundy had 26 touches, 28 hitouts and a goal. Week after against Adelaide, 23 touches, 10 marks, 5 tackles, 32 hitouts

If Goldstein has an uninterrupted preseason and is 100% would you take Grundy over him?

depends on Grundy's pre season and overall fixture. Since Collingwood have the better midfield, Grundy's big games should be huge, while Goldy has to work harder for his big games, but we know he can do it

Very true, I just saw Grundy's scores post round 14... very impressive should be cheaper than Goldy too

As happy as i am with Grundy's 2nd half of season i don't think you can go past Goldstein if he has a flawless pre season.

Was the #1 scoring ruck over the last 8 rounds, of which only two were wins.

Edit: Got this wrong, was #1 for Fantasy, #2 behind Gawn for SC.

Lids locked
Fit Goldy locked
Gaj pod locked

That's a lot of locking there Tox.

I'll probably start Gawn and Goldy.
GAJ I wont start with, wont be cheap enough to tempt me I don't think.
Lids is on my never again list. campaigner doesn't even want to be there and neither do his calves.

Grundy hey. Hmmm.

I have a feeling of overwhelming positivity that next years teams will look very different to the teams of the last 5 years.

No Lids, Swan, GAJ, Bartel, Gibson, Goldy etc

2 of them are locks and another highly likely imo.

As a Collingwood fan and someone who does like Steele, I find him to be a bit overrated and someone who can go missing so I didn't go with him at any point this year (my first year) as his price was way too high. I bet he scored well under a 100 a bunch of times. Did he? (no idea what his scores were)
Yeah, he missed a couple of games through suspension and averaged 106 over the 20 games he played.
Not a disaster (looking at you, Jack Steven), but also not stellar, and that average was inflated by a good run he had between rounds 4 and 9.

Probably the best season of his career this year to be fair, has been immense for us. Will probably not make the final squad though, they'll give Rampe a go coz you know, Sydney.
Yeah, that's the thing. Rampe did have a very good year, no doubt, but surely at some stage they have to reward the blokes like Simpson that perform to a high standard year after year, are super-durable and he put in just about a career-best year this year. Blues backline was good in general, I reckon.

This thread whets the appetite for next year, counting down the days to Triple Threat Jack Martin's ascent to the first TPP* in SuperCoach history.

* Triple Position Player or Totally Plastic Premo, as the case may be.
