Prices for next year- do they include their finals scores? Or is the prices judged on what players scored during the home and away season?

Ablett, Swallow, Fiorini, Miller, Hall, Rosa, Harbrow

you underestimate the depth and talent of the GC midfield

Ablett. Great. Old. Broken
swallow. Good. Broken
hall. Good. Usually broken
rosa. Decent. Broken
harbrow. Average.
Fiorini. Has played one good game.
miller. Good , but the fact he is in the mid rotation is an indictment of the available talent, not evidence of incredible output from him. Should be running out of the fifty, not handballing in congestion.

Unfortunatly gold coast 's mid field talent has been gutted losing bennel jom and prestia who are all elite or close to it when on song.

I may start lynch next year, it all depends on his supply. He could be a very handy pod if he starts well.

Dylan ******* Shiela. Got rid of him 10 weeks ago yet he still drives me mad. Never ever again. Misses easy goals, goes missing, spends half the game on the bench. He's more Jane than Tarzan. Never ever ever.

Cost me like no other player this year. Then out for 4 weeks and back after 1. Destroyed my season. Gone.

If Hawthorn pick up Tom Mitchell then he's an absolute LOCK for me. Him getting all the contested ball and feeding it to that Hawthorn midfield. Drool.

If Swallow gets through a preseason he is a lock - at what his price will be, expect break out season 2.0... whatever club he is playing for...

For what it's worth - I think the media circus around GC is ridiculous. No other club has had anywhere near the injury run they have had over the last 24 months. Talent is talent, their list is still very elite (and they will bring in elite with what they trade for JOM and Prestia) - underestimate at your own peril.

I'd wager that we've gone very close.

Neo vs Agent Smith.
That's at least a better matchup than
Batman vs Superman

How the h3ll would a normal guy dressed in a bat suit with just a few gadgets in a utility belt beat a man of steel from a different planet who can fly faster than a speeding bullet?

One of life's mysteries , like how CD calculate Rance's score.

The old shark repellent in his belt was a classic in the old batman movie, when he was hanging from a rope ladder out of a chopper and a shark biting his leg. Batman says is a struggling voice, "If I could just reach my shark repellent". :'(

So I've read a fair few season reviews (just recently the winners today) and the common theme I'm getting is just how more important trading seems to be then your initial starting team. This years winner had only 7 keepers from his initial starting team that he kept for the entire season, incredible. Yes you at least need a solid team but if you are aggressive, look to pods and don't pay top dollar for players, it should see you soar up the rankings.

This was me last year. 50k going into the byes to inside 2k before SC finals. Then I ran out of trades.
This year I just plain old sucked. Wrong mindset from the get go and too much beer and shenanigans :D

Anyways. On that note. One longneck and a stubbie down. Go Eagles :rainbow:

Quote from Adam Treloar on the AFL website -

Luke Shuey is always on the move at stoppages, especially at centre bounces. That's risky. If you're one foot out of position opponents will hurt you the other way, so he walks a fine line. That said, he gets it right nine times out of ten. If I had to pick the best inside-outside midfielders I'd pick Shuey and Dan Hannebery - that's how highly I rate Shuey.

Reckon he's jelly much...
..and Cripps said the same about Treloar no doubt :D

Don't worry guys you too can reach Shuey's level :rainbow:

any chance Fyfe gets M/F next season? He seemed to play a fair bit forward before he went down (from my hazy memory).

What about Robbie Gray? Any chance of M/F?

Also, I haven't watched Zorko much, did he play enough forward to keep F/M?
