Anyone get that herald sun magazine that's in sale today and tomorrow? What's actually in it?
I got it.
Plenty of photos in it, Crowd, action shots, celebration shots from grand final. 1 sentence summary on each player. Norm Smith votes - including Terry Wallace giving Dusty only 1 vote.
It has Champion Data tables for each of the finals, then goals, best players, brownlow votes and 1-2 sentence summaries of each of the H&A games.
I like it.

Sounds like the premiership record then, or does it have more info?

Guys anyone know if the DVD will also come as a Blu Ray eventually? Or what the quality of these DVDs is usually like??

Sorry if it's been asked already.

I have that as well but hadn't had a good look at it.
Yes, it's similar, and it looks like the premier record has more detail - 98 pages vs 66.
Premier record also has glossier pages and feels better quality.
Think the HS one is worth it for someone who already has the record or its it the same but worse?

I've just put the DVD in for its first run and my god, this is horrendous.

The picture refresh rate makes it look like some kind of stop motion time-lapse video.

I've put on the SEN commentary and the audio is about 1.5-2 seconds behind the video. It's like the opposite of trying to watch the regular channel 7 broadcast with radio commentary and the video lags behind the audio.

This is 'demand my money back' kind of quality.

Haven't bothered to open mine yet as I already downloaded a HD copy the next day.

Fingers crossed the blu ray release is much better.

I heard someone say the audio synching gets worse after the QT break. If that happens with mine, it's getting turned off and the Foxtel replay recording is getting put back on to suffer through the 7 commentary again.

Pathetic that Beyond Home Entertainment allowed this to be released like that.

The black posters have already been put on eBay for $500. **** me dead.
Was always going to happen unfortunately, I personally like them more than the gold version. I could swear there is something in ebays terms where you have to physically have the item before you can sell it.

You could make your own poster really, black the background of the white poster then get a print at officeworks lol.
I'm making my own premiership memorabilia. There is a nice picture on twitter of the players premiership medallion being modelled by a lovely young lady. I'm going to print that off and frame it with an inscription Richmond Premiers 2017 and the score. :straining::footy::straining::footy:

It's basically an inferior version of the record but has different pictures and some different articles:
Band of Brothers - Mark Robinson on the march to glory
Hard Times to Heroes - Trent Cotchin on the unbreakable bonds
Overhaul began with the coach - David King
They are all probably not much different to any Herald Sun article - haven't read them yet.

I do like the fact that it has the Champion Data table for all 3 finals, whereas the record only has stats for the grand final I think.
But that may just be me. Can see me pulling out those stats to defend Cotch or Edwards when some clown down the track talks about their poor efforts in finals.
