Will have a Captain's run on the Friday - Thursday is usually the players day off during the week.

I was his biggest critic as a forward. Not saying he was 'really' capable but capable to play in a preseason match sim game as a forward instead.

Brown would know hes behind Ambrose and possibly others for that 3rd defender role which means hes on the outer of the best 22 right now.

I think the club would pick plenty ahead of him across half back whether they have speed or not.

Yeah I do see your point but that line breaking speed has become pretty important in todays game trying to break through zones. Even then I think Kelly and Gleeson are really the only two half backs I see in front of McKenna. Best 22 is made up of the best players in each of their roles in the team, he just adds something that a lot of our other players do not have.

Noticeable that they want greater damage from the Heppell disposal and he was kicking furthers and winning more footy forward of centre and also looking to get forward to have scoreboard impact.

Not sure who bustled through the contest at about 3min mark in the centre square.

Leuy has great vision, awareness and execution for a ruckman by his disposal i think he could be set for a very good year.

Fun fact: Carlton went into that draft with Dillon Viojo-Rainbow rated 8th on their draft board.

And 52 players from the same national draft have played more AFL games than him.

There were other clubs that didn't even have Boekhorst in their top 50.

EDIT: It was Shane Rodgers. He quit when they restructured the department and he had to report to SOS. I believe he's at the Lions now but looks at AFL listed talent, not U18's anymore.

Easy to see why. I don't think he'd even get close to being in Brisbane's best 22, that's how little I rate him.
