Obviously a big year coming up for Jake, how does everyone think he'll perform?

He will blitz it. Coaches need to give him a go, kid is a natural.

We used to be in the paper, prior to the SAGA, most days. Our PR staff must be great! Looks like it's going again as we clear away from all the shit!?

I have a feeling that too many clubs "over-thought" Clarke.

On paper he is 6'2, has elite endurance, good speed, good strength, a mans' build, he is a a contested animal, smart guy/good citizen/leader and was selected in the All-Australian team. He has numerous attributes that are high level AFL attributes.

His kicking is his major weakness but it is one aspect of his game and it is a part of his game that can be worked on to the point that he is either technically more proficient and/or he can work within his limitations to ensure that his team can retain the ball.

Reckon that in a couple of years Carlton will be asking themselves how they managed to overlook a player like Clarke twice from 50 onwards (given that their inside midfield stocks are comfortably the worst in the AFL or at least as bad as Hawthorn).

In a draft in which we targeted midfielders we could not have jumped quickly enough at taking someone with Clarke's ability at 67.

Some info on training from Blitz. In match simulation Fanta kicked an awesome runnin goal. Stewart was awesome at CHF, McGrath also impressive getting a lot of the footy. Francis fitness still not up to scratch yet. Stanton playing half back to good effect he swapped with Kelly and Goddard on the wing. Dea, Gleeson and Langford all looking good. Team is apparently fittest it's ever been. Also apparently Woohsa got angry when a player kicked the ball sideways wanting more direct kicking. Safe to say we will be playing a more attacking and fast paced style of play this year.
