Seems like the whole midfield group is training to go forward. Seems to be more attack oriented game plan this year (finally?)

My summary from this:
Heppel doesn't have a bad hair day,
Watson looks firkin good forward,
Goddard is ball watching too much-looks like a long year in the reserves for him unless he addresses this issue,
Howlett touched the ball too much, cause he is only playing resies this year,
I like the 'man bun' long is sporting at the moment, he will play many AFL games with that look, bookmark it (I remember the Stynberg experiment yes but I still think this irrelevant in regards to Jake)
I like CMcKenna alot, and its not because of his bad english
If Gleeson takes a mark and plays on immediately again to get tackled I will spew (I expect this to occur alot this year btw)
and the umpiring was shit...who the heck was it...sack him now

What an absurd comment.Howlett touched the ball too much, cause he is only playing resies this year,
I think your sarcasm meter might need some maintenance. What an absurd comment.
"How dare Howlett impress in training, I only have him playing 2's."
He was making a parody of training methinks. This is way off.
I was there and It was clear all the players were instructed to play on immediately after taking possession as much as possible, Gleeson's intercept marking was terrific and he was merely following instruction - best to make errors at training rather than against Hawthorn.
You're kidding yourself calling a 13 year veteran a ball watcher.. Guys like Goddard and Kelly bossed the training session (especially second half) and the difference in their skill levels at training is stark especially when there are VFL players involved like there were on Sat.
Personally, with less responsibility i think our veterans will flourish this year as none of their AFL attributes are based on athleticism but rather game nous and skill execution..
Keep these training summaries coming boys! They're the only thing keeping me sane!
Looks great. Not sure how he made it into the 30's on draft night.anybody see begleys dont argue in the highlights? that boy is so strong and is quite explosive. Rnd 1 Debut for mine. smash them.
