I'd say Rowe should probably be best 22 as well, though not by much. Solid role player, led the league for total 1%er's last year.

I read the Carlton best 22 thread. They expect Marchbank to take his spot.

Fair enough, I think Marchbank would be more of an attacking defender than a lockdown one. I expect Marchbank would take his spot eventually, though for now I'd say Rowe at full-back, Weitering at centre half-back and Marchbank as the 3rd tall defender. And if they want 4 190+ cm defenders then go Plowman over White.

I would probably agree with that.

Still, it is immaterial. Rowe is 29 and not a long term player.

Cripps is more valuable than every other player drafted in that half decade combined. Crazy.

True, but he provides a mature body for the likes of Marchbank, Weitering and Plowman to develop around and learn from. And with Marchbank's injury issues who's to say he won't break down again?

Cripps and Weitering for mine are the two players on their list that would be considered absolutely untouchable from their point of view.

Additionally the same blitz poster said Daniher is back in match practice and also kicked and marked well in drills. So hopefully gets in good enough shape to play in the 2nd and/or 3rd JLT preseason match.
