Checked my posting history and could find two instances where I've run with "calf", both times ******* about alluding to his prior drug use - on our board where we enjoy poking fun at you guys as much as you guys enjoy potting us here





At the same time I posted the above I also posted this



The linking of Bennell's calf injury to his previous drug use only an idiot would genuinely believe but I'm not above shit stirring from time to time. I leave any trolling off this board though for the most part

Exactly. People love spreading malicious rumours but never think of the persons family.

I can only imagine and think how unfair it would be for my parents to hear that throughthe media. The media in our papers are like one big gossip column.

These young sport stars can't even make a couple of mistakes in life without it travelling around with you.

Apparently that comment relates to what was said on the SEN breakfast show yesterday, which wasn't reported. Karl Langdon even said that it went over the top and that's why Ross mentioned the racist overtones.

I don't know how Bennell can possibly beat Chris Yarran as "worst recruit of the decade." I mean we know Yarran won't play a single game for Richmond and he cost far more than Bennell did. Explain that one in any way other than the media are useless at their job. Good luck to anyone who tries.

There's grey on both sides for sure. Drugs and race are both red herrings in this case and perhaps they will cancel each other out. I just like how RTB spoke aggressively in defence of Bennell. Having a father figure that has your back, that will stand up for you in the face of critics can galvanise a group. I liked it and I'm sure it wasn't lost on the lads.

Garry spent too much time with the 12 year old boys trapped in men's bodies that comprise the Footy Show panel. Brayshaw, Eddie and Sam are all A grade flogs and Garry has followed their example. He wanted to be both the blokey, larrikin Footy Show compere and a serious footy journo.

He's a lightweight who knows SFA about what happens at footy clubs and that includes Melbourne FC. I remember him trying to browbeat Caroline Wilson about what some senior Melbourne FC figures had told her. When she said "Do you want me to name them?" Garry folded up like a cheap card table. Probably the most watchable thing he ever did on TV.
