That's a fair call, I think it's pretty line-ball between the two as it stands. Feel like it will be very hard for anyone to catch them as 1 and 2
LDU can. His 2nd half of this year has been outstanding. In a tough year for Nortn he has been incredible.

Will be interesting to see where LDU is once he hits 100 games. Right now he's played 30 or so less than Brayshaw, which is a fair chunk of footy at a young age.

Last ten weeks he's gone 29 touches, 6.5 clearances, 6.5 inside 50s, 6 score involvements and 520 metres gained per game, in a poor side. That's seriously elite.

I get it. Brayshaw had a fantastic year but I don’t think it’s fair to let recency bias to skew your analysis.

Just my opinion.

O’Brien.

Just because they do good windscreen’s, is no reason for putting them next to Brayshaw & Naughton.

Only 2 players in the competition averaged a goal and 20+ disposals per game this season.

Marcus Bontempelli
Pick 67 in the 2017 draft Dylan Moore.

I thought bonts had an average year.
Sonny kicked 40 goals and averaged +20 disposals in 2019 the only player in the afl to do it that year.
I loved it but people were still arguing his position in the AA.
Dylan had a great year if he backs it up he can definitely move up the board

Midfield depth is really shallow in this draft, but at least we have Brayshaw, LDU, Kelly and Cerra at the top end. Lots of small forwards. Lots. Plenty of defensive talent too.

This would be my order now if redrafted.

1. Naughton
2. Brayshaw.
3. LDU
4. Kelly
5. Rayner
6. Taylor
7. Fritch
8. Ryan
9. Balta
10. Allen
11. Baker
12. Bailey
13. De Koning
14. Mihocek
15. Starcevich

Apologies to Harrison Petty, Cerra, Higgins, Sam Switta, and Fogerty. (who could all rocket back up this list in the future)

I'd disagree with a lot of this (soz)

I'm not sure Brissy supporters would take Rayner over Bailey and Taylor over Kelly for mine, and Kelly will further and futher down this list the next 10 years when he's retired while others are still playing

I do think Kelly will slide down the list but I think Rayner is going to have a better career than Bailey. Also think Kelly is a very good player, just viewed worse because he is on such a lucrative and long contract and has played for such a poor team this year.

What’s happened to Balta ?, was viewed as the second coming. Where his tyres over inflated ?.

Not too sure that Naughton has that number one spot. Been a bit underwhelming lately, whilst others get better and better.
