I've just picked the more expensive ones for now, much nicer to be able to upgrade your team once cheaper guys pop up than have to downgrade premo's to fit the right rookies in
+1.

I've got Logue, Ainsworth & Powell pepper as the last on field rookies

Gotta love it, NAB cup just a bunch of days away, footys back. Loved what Stoinis did but it's time for footy to take centre stage again and with it SuperCoach!
As always we're all looking for those cheap diamonds in the rough type rookies.
Hoping some of you might have some info on a few of the following players...they 'popped' up on my radar over summer for one reason or another but don't know a lot about most of them.

Ben Long- Dual position status is appealing but not so much if he doesn't play! Was near the top of my 'cheat sheet' tho, so was one of my first rookies picked.

Tarir Bayok- Anyone rate this guys chance of getting some games?

Harry Dear- I know he's been useful in the SANFL, just not sure there's much room for him in the crows fwd line.

Wylie Buzza- On my cheat sheet also, cheap fwd/ruck option. Any news on how he and his chances are tracking?

Petrevski-Seton- I've heard enough about this guy to know I'll be starting with him. Ex bull rider from middle of nowhere WA. Sounds like he's taken the hard road to get to the AFL and just think he'll be a gun. One of my first picked.

Agree on Petrevski Seton.

As for Tarir Bayok. Can't see him getting a game and if he does it will be the token one or two.
Not a playing rookie or cash cow this year I'm afraid.

Apparently Tom Papley is injured which could open the door for Will Hayward or Brandon Jack.

Hayward is a better player and is cheaper so hopefully him.

Is A.Johnson from the Swans injury free this year?
IIRC he's had a couple of knee recos the last 2 years but if he's all good then may get a few games maybe?

I swear this guy has had a knee injury for the last 4 years. Bit scary. His last season was 2012.

Poor bugger has had 5 recos, the latest was one was back in July(ish) then he pretty much ran for the first time in 4 years in August/September and said it is the best his knee has felt since 2012.

At best he will be playing in the second half of this year, and IMO that will most likely be NEAFL.

Shin issue I believe ( it was in my pre season write up but it's late and I cant be arsed finding it :p ) and he is apparently "off legs" until early/mid Feb so you would think he will struggle to come up for Round 1.

BJack, like Towers is hopefully a depth player at best this year.

I reckon Florent is also in the mix, like last year there could be 2-3 debutants come Round 1.

I'm big on Hayward, his second half of 2016 was splendid and he proved he had midfield capability also. I reckon he could pull a 70-80 average out of his ass to be honest. If he lines up round 1, he's in.

Don't think he had double digit possessions in a single game of the championships. Can't see why he would at afl level. He looks pretty talented but would think he needs time?

Mc hell no

210k = no no no

He's last years Weitering. I think with guys like SPP and SPS under 200k having one 200k rookie who is a midfielder in a shit team is acceptable.
