I wasn't impressed at first, just because I was confused as to why they'd take another small with our first rounder, I'd hardly heard of him. But some of the TAC boys I know we're happy with it and they're Tiges supporters too so I'd back their judgement, they played against him in the champs so they'd be a better judge than me.

Good around goals and at ground level. Quick enough and good handball. Don't know much else about him other than he's small.

Just wait and see how they go in the preseason matches, and ultimately, round 1 teams

I think all the North lads mentioned will get games this year, watch JLT form though for whether it will be round 1 or a bit later in the season.

I'm very excited by Hibberd, he looks like he'll be a player. Also keep an eye out for Jy Simpkin later in the season.

Thanks for the feedback. Hibberd with DPP status is pleasing. Hearing this McKay kid is great at contested marking, but is a KPP. Will definitely be watching these guys.

our McKay has apparently looked fantastic on the track (but i know everyone does this time of year)

Not sure this is his year yet, but given our ass-like forward line, he may be the most important talent there that we have

Newman is a good chance.

24 year old elevated to the senior list with a 2 year contract following making All-Australian in the NEAFL. Averaged 28 disposals.

Horse has said something vague like he is hoping Newman can make an impact off the back line.

Keep an eye out for Jake Barrett and Blake Grewar- two rookies from Brisbane. Both were dominant players for GWS' and Redlands' NEAFL teams last season, teams that were significantly better than Brisbane's NEAFL side. With the youngest list in the comp, I reckon there's a good chance they'll see senior footy early. Currently have Barrett on my field.
