Just got vid from North...

Might only be Sunday squad, but 6 debutants: Hrovat, Marley, Preuss, Simpkin, Hibberd & Mountford... So no EVW & Durdin.

Instead if picking a player based on them potentially playing, why not pick the guy who is confirmed to be playing? You might be waiting 5-6 rounds for Parfitt to get a game while Florent has already made close to 100K.

Worst case scenario Florent gets dropped after a few games and you trade down to another rookie - big deal, rookie correction trades are a common thing early on in the season.

I believe I'm almost settled on a team. (100% maybe that) Florent and Parfitt are my final hurdles along with T Stewart in the backs.

Well I was wrong in my prediction.

One of Durdin or EVW should have been in and Pruess selection is surprising.

Small, fast, can tag, can play small forward, has been an accumlator at vfl level and is a hard worker.

I honestly thought Daw would have been picked, really disappointing for Majak.

I'm worried about his JS. Our preferred forward line will be Brown, Waite and Daw/Preuss. Brown and Waite are locks, the final spot is up for grabs.

Preuss will play this week either in place of Brown who missed a fair chunk of the preseason, or in place of Daw based on form.

If he plays well he'll hold his spot

Averaged 60 from 51% TOG. He was going at a much higher rate before he started to tag O'Meara in game 2 and barely touched the ball there after. He did a good job at shutting him down though so not sure what his role will be.

Forgot about Cunnington, makes it hard to have a lot of faith in picking him.
Would be happy to use a corrective trade on him if he has a good start tho.

Im not. No DPP and my gut feeling is he'll only get a handful of games as a taste while Goldy ramps up his fitness.

A bit of everything. He will tag, spend time forward as he's a quick little thing, he will play inside and out on the wing.

Hibberd will play hb/wing, so he can people a lot of SC money.
