Shai Bolton had my jeans creamed by qtr time, by half time i already busted a 2nd nut when he was on 79. By full time baz jnr was internal and about to poke out the noos.

Having said that very promising signs from the young fulla, i mean yes its disapointing he went from 79 to 62 in a half but in the first half he looked elite and should keep his spot for the near future.

Oh and can we please all raise a glass for the dux of the 2017 rookie class in Sir Nic Newman, Has a rookie ever turned into a premo keeper before ?
Only one that comes to mind was Barlow in his first year at Freo. Posted some silly scores from memory

Pretty sure Zorkfault averaged over a 100 in his first season.
Zorko averaged 100 on the button.
Barlow averaged 116 through his first 13 games before breaking his leg. Scored 151 on debut and followed it up with 139 the following week. Now that's a rookie.

What happened, did he run out of puff?

just reverted back to normal.
all small forwards will float in and out of games, especially the young ones.
he got lucky and floated in in a big way and then went completely missing.

Yes .....has done it every game .....normally has a bit over a qtr where he gets a bit of the ball, this week, a half

But the kid is not short of confidence

According to JRoo bolton is the best mark in the league.
Has a massive leap apparently

Barlow is easy the best rooky of all time.
No one else comes close. Cripps IMO a long way back.
Barlow in 2010 as a 102K rookie. Scores included 151, 151, 146, 139, 138, 126, 110, 103 and an 86 in 3rd qtr when he broke his leg.

Barlow was a freak in his rookie year.

I nearly cried in my beer when he went down that day. :'(

I cried every week he played as we had the first 5 picks in the rookie draft and picked up our usual lightweight flaky spuds. He went pick 7.....

Well if its any consolidation you did get Barlow eventually. ;)
