Nope, but I don't think it would have been all that high
He isn't exactly the best tap ruckman, strength is his work around the ground

Awful? Not his fault he got concussed and dumbass Voss playing Archie with Stef.

If Fagan has any brain he knows Stef needs to be the no.1 ruck and when he is, well go look at 2014 and 2015 stats and tell me Stef is awful.

I am highly considering the punt with Stef, he is underpriced and will average 100+ as a sole ruck. The big issue is Archie but i don't think they will play him. If they do....ill give Stef a week or 2 to see what happens and by then he would have made enough cash to upgrade to next best ruckman whoever that may be. Yes that would be a wasted trade, but the reward is Archie doesn't play, Stef solo rucks and averages 100-110 and i would have saved $160k by starting him over Gawn.

Nankervis had a HTA% of 48% which is unbelievable. Gawn went at 34% last year. Sample size is small, but signs are good. #SuperCoach

I didn't catch all of the game but Kreuzer certainly had the better of the ruck duels from what I saw.

However, when I did see Nank win a hit out in the centre bounce (about half a dozen times) they all went to a yellow and black jumper.

I said one month ago that I'd start with Goldy whetther Preuss was there or not.

Well, I've caved in and replaced him with Stef which leaves me:

Martin, Sandilands (Preuss)
Nank F4, Cameron F5 to take Butlers score.

That has allowed me to upgrade spud Shoenmakers for Roughead.

Agreed with Ryder, they are clearly backing him to spend a fair amount of time in the ruck, and add that to resting in the forward line, could be very good.

I went with Stef and used the extra 157k to turn WHE into Roughy. No-brainer imo, going by Stef's soft draw. As long as Archie is never named...

And what if that happens again? Not completely out of the question. I agree you can make a change after 2 rounds, I'd rather go Gawn > Martin rather than trying to find the other 150k to go Martin > Gawn.

I too am in a similar situation, i have sandi and stef martin as ruck atm i dropped nank for martin yesterday before i went to the mcg silly me. Now am abit worried. What do you blokes think will martin and the extra cash ive spilled out favor me or will this decision haunt me haha worst case scenrio waste a trade bring in nank for martin. Im also kind of tempted to take ryder for martin its doing my head in, if i keep him im hoping he beats nanks score... thoughts people??

I think you're thinking of Close or Freeman or Walker - McStay is not even a fill-in ruck, whereas all those guys have at least pinch hit in there.

Mate, I'm a Brisbane fan, freeman is injured right now, walker is a *******, close won't ruck only forward, I know mcstay isn't ruck and won't ruck but he is the main reason Archie won't get a game

Absolute pickle my heart says stef but my head says max gawn.

How is McStay keeping out Archie if they'd be playing completely different roles? It's like saying Zorko is keeping out Walker.

We will play someone as a chop out ruck for Martin. Close played that role in 2014 when in the team. In 2015 it was Leuey, 2016 it was Walker. Martin needs someone to give him a five minute break now and then. This year's it's probably going to be Close at this stage unless Smith comes in.
