Gawn with a 483k Stef Martin if played as that extra midfielder ruck role he scored so well with not so long ago will do me.
If nab shows a different role for stef then it's goldy gawn

I'll look at Nankervis as a Forward as well.
It'll be interesting to see what happen with Suns rucks in pre season as well.

Grundy 1st ruck. Had mummy all year, another year older now, probably time to pass. Could go Goldman and Grundy. Definitely set and forget the rucks. My golden rule every year.

id imagine that Witts might get first crack at 1st ruck. otherwise id doubt he would have gone up, plus Rocket loves him. He also isnt a big fan of Nicholls

It's really a wait and see on Nankervis. See what role he plays. If he gets decent ruck minutes he could score well. Although Hampson might get the main ruck year.
If Witts gets a dencent amount of minutes in ruck he could be considered. Although I think there's a fair chance they'll chop and change rucks.

Sandy I'll take a close look at.
But I'm worried about Stef, with Archie Smith there saying he wants to be No.1 Ruck & considering he played quite well in seniors when picked I'm worried the Lions will play them both which means a drop in points to Stef, if Stef is rucking by himself then he's a promo for sure!

My worry with Grundy is his ceiling last year didn't seem high. Likely due to the clangers he can rack up. Seemed to get the ball from a clearance and throw it on the boot a bit. Probably something he'll be working on. If he cleans that up he'll be pretty close to picking in front of goldy.

Sandy will be well past 34yo by the start of the season. He's already had soft tissue problems and at his height and build that is only likely to get worse. If he can stay on the park then probably worth the risk as a fit and firing midfield (Fyfe, Neale, Bennell et al) will make it easy to create hitouts to advantage. I can understand the consideration but definitely not worth the risk for me.
