Jacobs is a lumbering slow ruckman who isn't great around the ground.Huh? But Jacobs is cooked at 28 you said bro?

Haha great call, thinking the sameGoing off these injury concerns and my worries about other rucks, I don't think I'm going to play a R2. It's just not worth the hassle.

not having DangerBTW what was Sam Jacobs problem last year. Knee?
I'm think Gawn then Grundy/Martin. With basement R/F rookie.Problem is there a better R2 other than Grundy?
Jacobs, Mummy, Goldy, Lycett, Giles have all missed sessions. Is Jacobs fit. I heard somewhere he was currently not in full training.
All you've done is put the mozz on him. Six weeks until round one. Plenty of time for his beard to grow long enough for him to trip over it.Gawn (bless his beard) is fit and ready

Just take 2 ruck rookies at R2 and R3, field an extra mid premo. Solid plan!![]()

Good to see you around these parts again mate.Huh? But Jacobs is cooked at 28 you said bro?

Talk that Goldstein won't be right to go until r3
Means i would be putting a line through him though. Stef Martin for r2 is starting to look better and better to meThat's a good thing.
What you don't want is for him to be "ready" for R1, only to be managed by R3.
Not all that thrilled going in with Grundy at R2
I reckon he'll average 90-100 and play 21/22 games, so it's not bad, but I like to aim for 110+ rucks
Taking Grundy means I'll be giving Adams a miss though, as I can't take all of Adams, Pendles, Treloar and Grundy![]()

There's really not much out there, is there. I didn't want to start Gawn because I can guarantee that he's going to regress to some degree, but Goldy and Sandi are injured, Sauce suffers from Danger's departure, NN is obviously out, Grundy is a so-so option, and I reckon Brisbane is going to pick Archie.
Witts is looking more and more tempting.![]()

I reckon with the no 3rd man up, Gawn is going to sky rocket again. There's really not much out there, is there. Ryder and Hickey the only other options for meDon't take Grundy
Plenty of other options and ways to play R2
