Witts Watch: Looks like he'll be playing in JLT 3, good news for those considering him.
Grundy / Keeffe: Mason Cox apparently hamstring trouble. Would guess Keeffe and Grundy could be the beneficianados of that with more ruck contests.

Bucks is too shrewd to risk a Rolls Royce like Jesse White* by throwing him in the ruck. (* I like old Jesse, reckon he is judged pretty harshly.)

Because he will be suspended for the remainder of the season.

All seriousness, if Goldy is even slightly underdone for Rd1, he will play.
Regarding Preuss, I think he plays regardless, with Mason Wood and Ben Jacobs now out for up to 2 months. Seems to be the consensus on the North board as well. Plays forward and chops out in the ruck. Might get people thinking twice about picking Goldy this year. See how he goes in North's JLT3 game, but if he plays well and named round 1, will more than likely be my R2. Super risky, but I am liking the look of it at the moment.

Is anyone else concerned that Gawn is going to get a role change? If he's not rucking solo, this could be Martin all over again.

If Spencer is named rd1, I'll be getting off the Gawn express.
I'm over thinking about the rucks until the round 1 teams are selected.. no point doing your head in over it

might have to go into round 1 with Preuss and Cameron as R1 and R2 :$

on topic though, if Spencer is named I have no idea what i'll do, but Gawn should still dominate as he's very dangerous in the forward line

this intrigues me so I was looking into it. The vibe I got from the North board was Preuss over Daw based on their first two jlt matches.

I cannot see Goldy, Preuss/Daw and Ben Brown all playing

would be like Jurassic Park

but i could be very wrong

I reckon they should just forget about Daw, he's been on their list for what seven years now? Hasn't shown anything to suggest he's an AFL player, Preuss showed more in his one game.

2 tall forwards in Waite and Brown
2 ruck/3rd tall in Goldy and Preuss/Daw

could easily work

Where does The Daw/Preuss play

Would be the tallest fwd line ever assembled

replaces petrie imo.
was just as tall last year.

Petrie was mobile

Daws a spud, experiment over
Preuss is a wrecking ball in a straight line, after that its queen mary style.

Fwiw i loved Preuss' aggression

Is Waite fit?

what he said :)

though not as tall, Pies have done with Cloke, Moore, Cox/White and Grundy

Hawks even? so much more mobile, but still.. Roughy, Gunston, Hale, McEvoy/Ceglar

Waite and Brown are pretty mobile for big boys

Worsfold use to play Cox and Nutnut in the Rucks and then Kennedy, Darling and Lynch Forward.
This strategy never paid off, we were to slow and unbalanced.
