2-2-4 (Tuohy, Macmillan)
5-1-5 (Beams)
1-1-1 (Sandi)
2-2-4 (Ryder, Steele)

I'm confident all my mid-pricers will be keepers

Macmillan aye, good luck to you.

Thanks, I'll need it :)
He won't lose you money, but I don't believe he'll make you a lot either.

I'm thinking of taking a similar punt on Dumont.

I don't need to make me money, I'm starting with him because I plan on keeping him all year
I think he'll average 90-93

I'm confident that Sam Butler will win the Norm Smith this year

Well then you'll be fine with him, one of north's few reliable players.

3-1-4(Marchbank)
5-1-5(Beams)
0-1-2(Sandi-Witts)
3-1-4(Nankervis)

310K in the bank that'll likely go towards turning Marchbank, Witts or Nankervis into a premium

4/1/1
6/0/2 (counting Beams as a premo)
1/1 (Sandi R2)
3/0/3 (Taranto and Bowes)

would love to add another premo in there, but with the lack of rookies I'll have to pick Marchbank, Hampton, Taranto, Bowes over 123k players.

I'm thinking of picking up all the cheap rookies who are named but keeping $200k in the kitty so I can upgrade to the more expensive rookies if needed prior to round 3.

That usually bites people in the ass. Holding onto cash early on just means you are taking the risk with 2 premos instead of 2 super premos, or 2 mid pricers instead of 2 premos.

You would want to be super confident in your picks to run into the season with 200K in the kitty IMO.

And now for something completely different.
Some of you may have come across this goofball, I've got to admire his interest in SuperCoach albeit unfunny, but satirical looking at his other vids.
In this one he tries looking at some past winning starting sides and their structures.

haha I probably should say that most of you will be dissapointed... but there is something in there

I'm doing the opposite- picking expensive rookies, and then if needed I'll downgrade to cheaper rookies if they look the business after rd 2.

You guys are doing it all wrong.

Mid price madness:

2-2-4 (mbank, jones)
5-2-4 (beams,smurfy)
0-3-0 (sandinankiwitt)
2-3-3 (taranto, higgo, steele)

Got rid of some of my mid-pricers for a more GnR side

1-2-5 (Tuohy, Macmillan)
7-0-4 (Beams)
2-0-1 (Ryder)
3-0-5

I'm going to count Beams and Ryder as keepers, because assuming they stay on the park, they will score great

Tuohy and Macmillan my only true mid-pricers

Only 3 high price rookies in Hampton, Turner and Florent

Hopefully the cheap rookie defenders who are teasing us at the moment end up getting a gig in round 1
