Very very funny. Gave me a good laugh. Just a different take on the day without the context. Still a bit of truth behind it.
In the space of 2 posts in went from true to 'some truth about it'.

By the end of the page it will be acknowledged for the hyperbole it is

The opportunity to trade with GWS for Lobbe should not be passed up. Don't know much about Sproule (wasn't he taken in this year's rookie draft?) as mentioned earlier, but that sort of trade is what we should be looking to do for him.

From the gws site:

GIANTS Academy graduate Zach Sproule, from Albury in southern New South Wales, is a versatile tall forward with top end endurance. After spending time in the NAB AFL Academy at the start of the year, he spent 2016 playing for the NSW/ACT Rams, Murray Bushrangers in the TAC Cup and the GIANTS Reserves in the NEAFL. A strong mark and excellent long kick, Sproule played mainly forward for the Allies and NSW/ACT in the 2016 Under-18 Championships, impressing with his exceptional stamina and agility for his size.

Still only 19 years. 197 cm and 91 kg. Yea a rookie

So who is the developing ruckman we are going to get if Lobbe goes, to fill the gap between Ryder and Frampton? Or are we going to keep attempting to dodge ruck bullets by having no decent ready to go backup??? That has to become a priority now.

We would have Frampton, Ladhams, and Ryder on our list, with Dixon, Howard, and Westhoff all capable of pinch-hitting. The situation really isn't as dire as it seems, though I would still be looking to recruit one more player for development.

Ladhams the forgotten kid here.

Huge upside and liked what I saw this season.
Showed some glimpses

Still a while away but I'm very keen not to flood out magpies with ok players with no upside just to be injury insurance holding back the development of our kids like ladhams.

For me frampton ladhams is enough. Would only bring in someone as ruck insurance if they can be hidden down back or up forward without hurting us if we need to give ruck time to our developing players.

He played as a second key forward alongside Todd Marshall in both the TAC cup and state U18's. Incredibly mobile for his size and a good kick but not really your classic contest marking key forward.

He is an interesting option though. We didn't have a pick after 31 last year and GWS had priority access once he slipped through to the rookie draft. Who knows where our recruiting team rated him.

While I like the idea of O'Brien I think people need to temper their expectations of him a little. Been on Hawthorn's list for 5 years and still hasn't developed consistency or shown definite signs of developing into a true KPF. He's basically a taller Impey with less speed/athleticism - it'd be a punt at trying to develop him into a player, rather than gaining a sure contributor to our best 22.

Easy to forget about someone who got dropped for a gf
Would have happened anyway because afl listed players still need to be picked before a rookie listed player under the sanfl rules. This happened during the season too and this is what does not help us. Ladhams needed to play mostly ruck to develop and he wasn't ready for league or available under the rules. He would have had lots of time had he been allowed to play in the reserves.
