Yep it sure seems that way. So it would be better for us to try and strike a deal with the Bulldogs, instead of being pushed to accept something lesser form the Hawks.
If his priority is just to get to a Melbourne club then I don't see why we shouldn't push for a deal with whichever one is best for us. It's unlikely that Impey is going to object to a trade as long as it gets him to a reasonable club in Melbourne.

No doubt port will get a pick they want for impey. Hawthorn don't have many other trades to do. Also hawks always are more than fair at the trade table. Port will get a top 25 pick.

Agreed. I used the Bulldogs as an example because Jacko is there.

Yes we do.. we have a guy who wants to play for us, when that happens the deals are made. Whatever you believe or want to believe is irrelevant, we were saying the same crap to Swine supporters about Mitchell last year.
Geez dude at least get your facts right before trying to taunt opposition boards.

If that happens we won't lose sleep.. I can't remember the last time we didn't get a deal done, so I'll back in my club as history suggests.
You didn’t get a deal done for Ryan O’Keefe, and then he won the Norm Smith medal in Sydney’s GF win over Hawthorn, so that worked out well.

Impey will explode as a great player in the next 2-3 years. Super fast, no one can tackle him.
Atm his decision making is average, but with maturity this will significantly improve. His disposal is average, but this is related to more his decision making.
He can kick I've seen him do ridiculous tricks with Wingod on PTV...

Pick 32 is far from nothing. We should be jumping all over that.
In this draft it's not as good. Probably around late 40s in last year's draft for comparison. The guy's 22 and has 75 games under his belt. Don't underestimate how clubs value that investment of game time. He's also not really suited to roles we want him to play. Could improve a good 20% if given a role ideally suited to him - i.e. allowed to play a bit looser

Luckily he's a "project player" and port "don't want to get loose him" and ken dancing around saying he wouldn't let him go cheap mentioning he went at pick 21. So pick 32 is quite off what he'll go for. Like I said earlier it's a good thing hawthorn are easy to deal with.
