Not sure I've ever heard him interviewed, I think he's a bit shy of the media. I'd be very surprised if he said anything negative about the club though.

Yeah, the only media I recall him doing was that stuff with Lilly Brown, but his Norwood escapade would have had his file stamped "No more media"

His potential upside, no matter how remote > anything we're likely to get in trade
There is no remote in his upside. He has it.

The way he went about playing in the Sanfl this year, winning the Maggies BnF and second in the Magarey, shows that he has heart, commitment and professionalism.

These are the sort of players that clubs strive to have.

It will be a massive shame if he exits the club because we can't give him a fair go. If anyone deserved a look at a golden ticket, its this guy. He wouldn't take it for granted.

This bothers me more than anything else. Dude played nearly triple the amount of games for us than Ah Chee. If we'd invested that time into a bloke with Arch's talent, there's no way we'd be in a position where we were stuck trading him and having to haggle to get a ****ing third rounder.
I mean is Ah Chee really all that talented? I honestly wasn’t that impressed with his inconsistency this year.

Impey looked like a gun last year, and is loved by Ken for a reason. Yeah he didn’t come on this year, but we all would have been calling for Ah Chee’s head a lot more than Impey’s.

That said, maybe he would have come on it’s just my opinion after all.

Well it's 6pm and sports commentators are none the wiser on Motlop who is leaving things very late. Must be part of a plan.
At the pub with CD and Zakk Wylde sinking a few frothies for a good week's trolling. ;)

So who would you drop to fit in Arch and keep our structure intact? As a mid, he's behind Ollie, Ebert, Rockliff and SPP. As a HFF he's behind the Grays and Boak. He's not a forward pocket player nor is he a winger.

He just can't get a game because there isn't a spot for him in our side and we can't give him the opportunity without dropping someone who wouldn't deserve omitting.

Yeah I don't think we did anything wrong throwing games into Impey, he had oodles of potential. You're not entitled to a gun player because you developed them, sometimes it just doesn't work out.

yep, I hope he stays

I'd suggest Arch has the ability to move past boak and sgray if things click for him

The question of the day is did Motlops manager meet with Port today as we expected/hoped?

If he did hopefully we'll hear a final position from Motlop tomorrow.

I'm struggling to see Watts leaving Melbourne but he's not much of a loss IMO. Would rather get games into Marshall. Motlop is what our system and structure desperately needs.
