There is no remote in his upside. He has it.

The way he went about playing in the Sanfl this year, winning the Maggies BnF and second in the Magarey, shows that he has heart, commitment and professionalism.

These are the sort of players that clubs strive to have.
Banner, Moore, Mitchell, Newton, S.Gray, Young and about a million others.

The question of the day is did Motlops manager meet with Port today as we expected/hoped?

If he did hopefully we'll hear a final position from Motlop tomorrow.

I'm struggling to see Watts leaving Melbourne but he's not much of a loss IMO. Would rather get games into Marshall. Motlop is what our system and structure desperately needs.
Yeah, that’s why we signed Rockliff first.

Lol. Let’s replace Impey with Ah Chee and be the most glacially slow, one dimensional side of all time.

Now I’ve heard everything.
Yeah I like how you spin it to justify your cause.

If you didn't like Impey it would be all "Impeys turnovers throw our structure and team defence out of balance which is why the players all look cooked" which is the reality.

Arch created spread and space with his elite handball and vision.

Impey was fast and like a deer in headlights and a turnover merchant.

Arch is one of those players that is too good for SANFL but not good enough for AFL. Runs at about 60% disposal efficiency and 18% of his disposals result in a turnover. He has had a good crack at our club, wish him all the best and hope he succeeds.

We all said that about Sam Gray till he was played in the right position.

Sam's 'right' position was as an inside mid. Got a chance there and flourished at times. This year he was given a chance to change his role. Credit to him, he did a very good job as a high half forward. Much better than how he played in a similar role back in 2014.

Impey has his problems. I’m not caught in some alternate reality. But his benefits outweigh the problems, which is why he kept getting picked. It’s why he was courted by Hawthorn and got traded for the equivalent of a pick in the 20s.

All Ah Chee has is a handball. It’s why we can’t even get a fourth round pick for him and he’ll probably just end up in the draft.

One of these players has perceived value in an AFL system, and one does not. Again, I’ll rate the talent scouting and selection of our club and Hawthorn over that of this board.

I saw Arch take hangers and kick goals under massive pressure in a grand final but as always you know more than me J.Anus

OK so I think Watts has said, according to Cleary, that he's happy with either Ports or Geelong so is leaving it up to his manager to work out the best deal and is going overseas?
This is simply not the sort of thing that people say, it's just the sort of thing that hack journos say people say in order to hedge their bets.
