Guys, are the Camrys always this idiotic?

Despite multiple sources saying Lever's deal from Melbourne is $750k/year for 5, they seem convinced its $900k for 6 and refuse to believe anything otherwise. They also refuse to believe Melbourne are in the market with 10+27.

This is the shit Dodoro gets raked over the coals for.
1. Yes. Imagine you lived in a state where every media personality was a Crows fan, ambassador or an ex player, any negative comments from outside get you banned from the club, and you sit in a stadium full of your own teams supporters rarely even seeing an opposition supporter. The Crows fans are a very entitled breed and they truly have no concept of reality. Everything they do is amazing in their own world, and no one ever questions it. They wouldn't want to know the truth and wont ever question it, so if they have to tell themselves the deal was 900k then they will and they wont question it. So the answer to your question is Yes.

You'd think 10 + 20ish would be about his value. He's uncontracted so the Crows don't really hold much power in any negotiation. Maybe a swap of your 3rd round picks is the final extra bit that helps get it done.

TR reckon a late third rounder gets Menzel. A three way trade for Ah Chee? I don't see how we lose there since Arch wants out anyway.
Port: Menzel
Geelong: ports and Gold Coast third
Gold Coast: Ah Chee
Menzel is a free agent. Geelong would get no compo or a fourth round pick.

IF impey asks to be traded where is his value? pick 39 from WB?
Ken loves the kid could you see him letting him go for that??!!
Dogs pick 26, cats have 33 and hawks pick 32. I would not let him go for less. Would prefer to keep him if we can't get a top 25-30 pick.

Two firsts is unheard of. Even pies desperate for treloar who was rated one of the elite best young mids in game was two firsts with a good second rounder back. I fail to see how pick 10 and 27 isn't enough.

You wait till you see how much they think Dixon is on.
Haha was hilarious when the trade was going down they were flogging that 750k-850k horse non stop. Next minute he signs for 600k, then they sign goose Jenkins to 550k and what do those dickheads do. Herp a derp Portz exploding salary tarps 119 derp.

Just a quick question with the info on us almost certainly getting Motlop and possibly Rockliff. Where do Arsene Wenger or Zak Wyde get their info from?

No to Lienert and Hombsch as a forward.

Yes to any of Watts, Hoff or Frampton. (Marshall maybe in another year).

Howard to play forward only if we have Jonas, Clurey and Hombsch fit and firing with nobody up forward to help Dixon.

Just missing the 8. But let's not wet the bed yet.
I suppose my point is: our list is not that bad, especially for taller forwards or potentials. I would rather find someone from within & look for speed via draft.

Whatever offer we have tabled to Rockliff... Increase it!

We need him. Of all the players we have been linked to so far his is a ‘must get’ signature this trade period as far as im concerned.

Have heard you guys may be interested in Duryea as a FA. Wanted to see what Port fans had to say about this?
You don't have to give up any trade currency.
He averages like 15 touches as a running backman.

Guys like young and ah chee can't get a game because they get dropped for racking up more touches than that, and we have perennial whipping boys racking up more of the ball than that.

Pittard has averaged more in a season than dureya has as a career high.

We have a litany of riches that I want a guy like broadbent , who is twice the player dureya is put up for trade.

Hawthorn , a team disappearing into irrelevance quicker than you can say 'good guy hodge' appear all to willing to let this guy go for what would in all likelihood be no pick or a third round compo pick

Unless he can magically be turned into zach Merrett up forward no thanks.

Tim Broomhead up for trade by the Pies - ex Port Magpie.
Hasn't made an impact at all. 180cm guys with few weapons don't go for much and aren't real sought after. I would rather keep young as depth than trade for him. If they want to give him away I might take him as the last spot on our list

We're in the market for small forwards and outside mids. Players like Isaac Smith for example or Steven Motlop. The interest we have in Rockliff is based purely on just injecting more top line talent, and Watts is because our KP Forward depth is shallow. I can't see what interest we'd therefore have in Duryea. Good player, but wouldn't fill a need for us, especially given we're swimming in half back flankers/small defenders.

I'd take him for cheap, if only to improve the kicking standard of our backs at training. I'm pretty sure our players aren't actually bad kicks, just ******* lazy, so getting someone from an elite kicking system should improve them hopefully. Kind of like when we got Ebert to the club and he improved the training standards of our players just with how hard he worked.
