a few people are now coming out and blasting Lever for leaving and choosing his preferred club... wish we had that when we lost the GH5 + Aish. At least it would have made me appreciate the AFL world at least cared enough about the Lions to give a shit.

The VFL club supporters will always say that when a QLD asks to go home it's between only 2 clubs so our chances of them coming to us are 50% whereas when a VIC player wants to come home the chances of them lobbing at their club are much lower given more clubs in VIC.

They ignore the fact that probably 8 or 9 out of 10 players wanting to return home are from Victoria.

If that happened then Dodongo would trade pick 1 for st.kildas first two picks. 4 picks in the top 13 is better than 3. Dodongo would then prefer to trade next years 2nd rounder for Cameron so we can use 19 on Ballenden.

Depends a bit on list spots as well. We don’t want to end up with 3 of the last 4 picks in the draft like we did a few years ago.
