2017 Trade and FA thread

As of now- I can't see much that would be of benefit to us trading out pick 1 unless Saints would do pick 7&8 for pick 1 although I can't see us doing that as none of the 5 players Conole mentioned as pick 1 candidates would slip that far. It would have to involve pick 12, 18 and 19.

Possibles-
Picks 12 and 18 or 19 for the Pies pick 6 or the Dockers pick 5.

I think it would be ideal to trade pick 1 for 7+8 and hope that Brayshaw is available which is a good chance as we do rate him up there. We could always package one of 7 or 8 with a late first to get a top 5 pick as well.

It's looking like Brayshaw is charging up late, he was one of the ones mentioned by Conole as a pick 1 candidate, can't see him getting to pick 7.

Top 8?- Rayner, Davies-Uniacke, Dow, Cerra, Brayshaw, Stephenson, Coffield and then it's a pretty wide open, IMO any of Constable, Hayes, Brander, Fogarty, Higgins, Clark, Naughton, O'Brien could be at 8.

I suppose it depends how far ahead the fella we want at 1 (LDU/Dow/Brayshaw) is to the next group.

Also said no club has matched a restricted free agents contract since it's inception. Thought adelaide forced a trade on dangerfield, may not have been a match and trade as such but certainly was a forced trade?
