I proposed the first one the other day, I think in this thread. Simple but makes sense.have a feeling the bombers will want something in return for 11 though with the work they need to do with other trades.

I agree. He's un-contracted, and he can walk to the PSD. No one else will touch him because He will put a price on his head that no one else will touch. I wold say a 1st and 2nd round will get it done, probably with a confusing shuffling of picks to make it more pallet-able for the crows.

Because Clarke is free and Martin would be traded for a pick and Stef might only have 2 more years left.

Melbounre and Adelaide would be happy with that. Just think it well over values Lever. That's the price for a Dangerfield/Martin type player

I wouldn’t- Clarke is Putrid. I’d rather just back in Archie or Big O.
I’d be surprised if anyone grabs Clarke.

Depends how you rate rucks I guess.

The last 2 premiership ruckmen are quite awful. Can't recall the last premiership team that had an all Australian ruck.

I don't think we need 4 on the list but at the same time I'm not totally comfortable with Archie or OMc as a backup.

I think I'd do it. Pick in late 20's for Martin? Pick up Clarke for free knowing we have Archie and OMc as backup options as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if Devon Smith heads to the Saints, which will place pressure on Ess to use pick 11 in the trade for Stringer.
I think pick 9 will be our preferred option, however 11 would do nicely.

The 2nd trade looks like it could work, with all parties satisfied.
Using the points system this trade values Lever at pick 2

The whole put a price on their head that no one will touch doesn't really work unless it's a $1m plus contract. Any club could renegotiate a couple of contracts to afford Lever. Plus the terms he sets have to be met by the club that wants him so he can't just say pay me $1.5m a year to scare off Brisbane and then sign for $750k a year
