Honestly, I'd take Kennedy for pick 18 even if he has some reluctance in coming to us. Maybe even pick 12. He is developing well and is very much the kind of midfielder we need.

The 'closer to Collingullie' thing is obviously a red herring. He wants to play for Carlton because kids who grow up as AFL fans in Wagga dream of playing their footy for a big Melbourne club, not for Brisbane. Maybe Fagan and Noble can get him over that hump and convince him his career is in Queensland.

God I hope Kennedy happens. Noble et al. better parachute the big gun in to get Matty over the line

Maybe Carlton becoming the GWS 2nds and seeing players regress and delisted doesn't excite Kennedy. I think with our coaching staff and the development of our younger players we would be a better choice than Carlton. We have a lot less home invasions as well as a bonus

If we were in Victoria Kennedy would have signed already.

If Impey goes to Hawthorn for pick 33 as predicted, Hawks will be desperate to get a pick or two back. I hope we don't give them anything too valuable if we do a deal on Hartung or WhiteX.

AND or BECAUSE?

;)

I've for some time thought that Hall is among the best of the GC players, when he is on form. He has very good pace and is prepared to run through lines. Not many of this type around.Ok there might be an element of Tassie hype here but this is my view.

His problem is inconsistency, which from memory has seen him dropped from time to time. Like many good footballers might well end up as a wasted talent. Unless he gets expert guidance.

Can't see Kennedy happening but it would be nice.
Agree but Carlton will have to dip into next year's picks to get it done (or offload Gibbs). They have no second round pick to give and picks 39 and 57 won't do it. Our picks would be looking very attractive to GWS.

Hall is supercoach excellent but I get the feeling his teammates and coaches would hate his lack of effort on the defensive side. Watching the suns games he only runs hard if he knows he will get the ball or benefit. If he was Ablett or Martin he could get away with it.

If it was up to GWS he would already be traded to us. Think they will trade Gibbs now, Adelaide have plenty of picks to satisfy Carlton which will help them get Kennedy.

plays about 5 good games a year, the rest not so much. He's a midfield equivalent of a Josh Green. Selfish front runner that refuses to defend. Has some great tools but unless he can improve his turn over rate he will for ever be the type that shows a lot of promise but instead delivers frustration. He'll be 27 before the start of next season as well so can't see him improving a lot.

Pick 13 in the 2015 draft and a couple of years under the belt in the system. Played most games this year in a star studded team and a bit of hard nut to replace Rockliff. Plays in the mid and forward similar to Rockliff. I'm sure lions heirachy knows what a coup it would be to secure his services. Perhaps some extra $$$$$ and a few trips to Wagga during the year might sway him. Can only hope. Off to work Mr Noble. Lions members will love you if you pull this one off.

Yep. Dodongo is really excited from reading stuff on here. But in all seriousness I would love to have a player thats done 2 years somewhere else and we then get the goodies! I wonder if this is the player in Hamilton's article.
