Weller wants out and back to QLD ,Freeo have been chasing Hogan (Nut Cancer fathers death compassionate reasons) Melbourne replace there power forward who they may lose next year and reload a pick into this years draft perfect world this makes sense.

Really hope the Lions are making some very serious enquiries about Weller. Only two teams in QLD...and highly doubtful GC have the currency if they are not prepared to give up #2 under any circumstances.

Surely #1 + #18 or #20 for Weller + #5 could pique Freo's interest

I'm actually over the VFL and following it, this trade for Gibbs is absolutely ludicirious the price Crows are playing, literally Carlton has continually been given a free hand to rebuild and are going to be well ahead of us which has absolutely destroyed my faith in the system.

I don't think Gibbs is the difference between a premiership and no premiership TBH. It wasn't the midfield where they lost the GF it was in their heads and Gibbs is as soft as they come.

Sure if the grand final was replayed and Gibbs was out there then they might still have lost but they needed class through the midfield and depth in case Sloane was tagged. They relied heavily through the year on rebound off half back and that fell apart in the GF because of Richmonds pressure.

I agree. Trying to now draw the Gibbs trade in on some Victorian conspiracy is utterly rediculas. We are jumping at shadows so bad. If Zorko asked to be traded under contract, we would be wanting about the same thing and we would get it too.

absolutely ridiculous if they give up a late 30s pick for kennedy we would have given an early 20s pick for him, I'm actually so disillusioned with all of this

Wow, the Suns were able to get the Eagles 2018 first off them. Would absolutely jump at that for Weller if I was Freo. I'd almost be getting in touch about our #12 and/or #18 if not. Think the Eagles will have quite a drop off next year - could well end up a top 5 pick in what's tipped to be a much stronger draft.
