All of them are good clubman & hard workers, and may help your culture a bit, if that is lacking. Whitey like Hodge is good with the youngsters and is a general on the field. Billy hasn't really come on as much as hoped, but may in a different environment.

I remember listening that late saturday night show on SEN with Tony Sheahan....anyhow this guy was on, I had no idea who he was, he was so reasonable and making sense. I was puzzled who it was, seemed very knowledgeable about the inner workings of the AFL etc..

..it was Nixon. I was dumbfounded..1.the mere fact he was on radio, obviously forgiven and back in the fold...2. sounded so sensible.

Have heard him again on the show, still the same, but every now and then he says something that makes you think not a lot has changed.

Still a creep, but that seems to be SEN's thing.....they've got Gary Lyon back too.

I bought Rockliff's signed hall of fame jumper off him earlier this year. He sent me a signed copy of his autobiography as well... haven't quite gotten around to reading it yet...

He has certainly made some truly terrible decisions in his life, however it appears he has turned a corner somewhat.

I've only seen Hartung a few times but he seemed okay. Am I missing something? Has got to be better than playing Lester on the wing surely? I know he's as outside as you can get but we do lack a ball carrier...

I have it on very good authority that Fagan offered Whitecross a 3 year deal to come to the Lions last year. He knocked it back as he loves the Hawks and living in Melbourne. However his situation has now changed as he has a sick family member, so it's not beyond the realms of possibility of a move back to Brisbane.

If we are dead set on getting another top 10 pick then the most logical is our pick 12 and 18/19 for one of their picks right? Assuming we trade one of 18/19 for Cameron then any bid on Ballenden is matcher from our 3rd. Sounds like a best case scenario (without working out the points) at this stage.

Dodongo can still see Close and/or Martin traded. Maybe Paparone too. Dodongo doesnt think Hartung would get a game if true and likewise Whitecross will be borderline but the latter is a hard worker and good role model. Mature bodiies is also what they bring to the table.

Don't think W× will come to brissy, though Hartung for me is a huge possibility. Its been rumoured throughout the year that he has a great relationship with fages. We do need leg speed deaperatly. I would agree a likely scenario is he went to meet / tour brisbane as part of a potential late swap of picks and W× joined him and Hodge, maybe he is just seeing family or hosting them for a few days to show them around.

On Nixon; he attended day one of the trade period unannounced catching everyone off guard including reporters covering the day.

Why did he attend? To offer advice / consultant services in case clubs or player managers required assistance in navigating the trade period.
