Ok so this is what I've heard. My old boss is in player management (although currently doesn't have afl players but some cool names in other sports), and word is Lever was furious with the crows first offer. In fact furious is an understatement. Apparently the crows are going to hit some pretty big snags with contracts soon. If a player is involved, expect a project or player on little coin. I would think ANB and stretch fall outside of that due to what they will be asking for their contracts in 2 years. Think similar to pat McKenna.
Crows will want 2 first rounds but I don't believe any of the clubs in the race will want to offer that. The crows have little LEVERage here.

In fairness... who expects a players 2 years in to be commanding big money? I mean Oliver will want some good dollars on the next round, but usually for a KPP, you've got 4 years of medium money before you have to start paying the big dollars.

Whats Lever worth, really? I'm a big believer that his role is the best on the ground for looking good.

Hey all, what's everyone trade value for JKH?

Reckon hes a late 3rd to 4th rounder due to his injuries and form
Two firsts. The guy has been on Neighbours - try getting that kind of experience around the traps.

Edit: I googled one of the shows he's on.

Jay Kennedy-Harris as Charlie – Charlie is a bit of a nerd. He is one of those boys that nobody hates, but he is nobody's close friend either. His school mates don't understand Charlie. He is the boy who meditates rather than mucking around. He is a bit out there which draws him to the Ainsworth sisters, who are also outsiders in their own way.
Three firsts.

I spat out my coffee.

I don't even drink coffee, but I went and bought one specifically so I could spit it out in reaction to this comment.

If you want a bit of an outsider for the draft, keep an eye out for Oskar Baker, from Aspley (same club as Wagner). I've seen him twice this year, and I'm a fan. He's got some good speed, a bit of campaigner about him, and can find the goals. Had 20 and kicked 4.3 on the weekend, including one that I was going to link a video of it in here, but when I found it, he kicked it from the camera's blind spot on the ground, which is around 50, right on the boundary line, it was a phenomenal goal. He got an invite to the State Combine, so I'd be more than happy for us to grab him if he's still around a bit later on.
