Much like hibberd, he wanted to go and Essendon accepted slight unders. Digs second sounds fair to me. Kidding if you think we swap first with them.
Hibberd is a 3rd tall who had spent a year out from a drug ban. Frost was a best 22 key defender for most of the year.

If Frost was to go to dogs. How about Frost and our first round (10 to 18)? to dogs for pick (7 or 8)? Send that and our next year's to Adelaide for Lever and their first round this year(15 to 18 ) If our pick lower than there's this year.
Melbourne: Out: Frost first round 2017 & 2018
Melbourne: In: Lever & say pick 18
Dogs: Out: say pic 7
Dogs: In Frost and say pick 10
Adelaide: Out: Lever and say pick 18
Adelaide: In: Pick 7 and 2018 first round melb

The fact the we wouldn't want to do that deal if it was us, swapping first rounders and a second. IMO anyway would suggest it is asking to much.

Probably fair. Just think he's worth more than a second. Maybe a second and swap thirds

Considering we paid pick 23 for him I'd be expecting the dogs first rounder back which might give us the 2 picks we need for Lever
Plus if the Dogs are chasing frost they ain't getting Lever

I love Frosty but even I can concede that lever will be a better player
I am pretty happy losing Frost for Lever. We would want a first rounder for Frost and then move that and our first pick this year for JL.

Curious to know why he was dropped the last two weeks? His form wasn't that bad against GWS was it? We've also got Oscar McDonald playing better footy and if Hogan and Pedo can stay strong up forward it frees up Tom McDonald.

I think the more and more we play OMac the less chance we go for Lever i reckon

Yes OMac needs to tidy up a few issues but I think he is a cheaper option and gives us Cap room to resign our young guns

p.s I have been a huge OMac basher in recent times
I think we need Lever. Especially if Frost goes.

The only thing i remember about Tony Sheehan is that Sam New rang him and called him a campaigner and so forth because he leaked a news story that the footy show was going to air
Tony Sheehan is a creep and a campaigner. His old man is no good and his sister is starting to turn out that way. I've seen better journalists come from Betoota.

Dogs will have something like 7 and 25.
7 too much alone 25 not enough for mine
Maybe 7 for Frost and our 2nd?
I'd be happy to do some sort of swapsies with them via picks.

Like 7 and 25 for 11 and Frost or whatever works.

If we get our hands on 7, that's probably enough for Lever (and maybe some slight steak knives).

Lever is definitely better than Frost.
