What about posters who openly admit to knowing next to nothing about draftees? They wouldn't be able to hang shit on the posters who profess to be the suppository of all wisdom but actually know just as little?
Everyone has an opinion. Let the proof not be in claims of knowledge, but in the results. Regardless of one's knowledge, anyone who puts forward their own list gets to critique the others who put forward their views. Those with no skin in the game shouldn't get to play, for they didn't have the courage to put forward their own list that can be critiqued.

Moved onto the Clark train, although I have a sneaking suspicion he may end up top 10 & out of our reach. However that may mean someone like Higgins does slide. From what i have read he is considered to be ready to go round 1 even if he isn't the biggest guy. Also, I think we have the guy in mind we want at 13, but as usual we will be in the dark until draft day.

Would be happy with 3 of either Kelly, Bailey, Worpel, Starcevich & Fogarty with the remaining picks.

Bailey & Starcevich are my 2 next favourites behind higgins. I really hope we manage to get them personally. (Note: to future me reading this post asking why I liked "insert player here" - you watched a lot of YouTube highlights videos Predraft)

The way it's going, Constable may even slide to 21. Him & Hayes seem to be the guys most likely to slide of late. Richmonds picks at the end of the 1st round could shape our plan for the rest of the draft.

Does he have a seriously weak leg or what? Poor ball speed, high trajectory and very little penetration.
Yeah, I spotted that with his kicking, though I'm unsure if any of that was due to him going at high speed. Hand balls seem to be quite chippy too. Aggression, speed in and out of a contest as well as ability in traffic are outstanding though...

I like the look of him otherwise and am working with a limited data set but looking at the below vid, dont try to tell me that kicking is anywhere near good...

He reminds me of a McGinnity 2.0, goes in hard, has some pace and toughness about him, but his natural kicking ability and decision making can be DREADFUL

So, the Big Footy draft has progressed passed our first 5 picks. What I liked about our picking up of multiple second rounders was that we have a chance to shape our draft with multiple picks where the draft is strongest and I think Monocle has made the most of it.

Pick 13 – Jack Higgins (Oakley Chargers, Vic Metro)
The 2017 Morrish Medalist – previous winners were Oliver and McCluggage. A member of the AA U18 team, this guy is a small forward/midfielder providing flexibility and added depth in the midfield. He has played midfield and has produced consistently in that role, as well as hitting the scoreboard. Clark and Constable were already taken meaning Higgins who was tipped as top 10 slid through. Adelaide were the only team to go a tall option.

Pick 21 – Zac Bailey (NT Thunder, Allies)
A tough inside midfielder who manages to get frequent first use and then works well in traffic and delivering to outside options. Ideal inside mid and anyone disliking this pick, please see Dark Sharks. O’Brien, L Fogarty and Allen off the board. Another member of the AA U18 team.

Pick 26 – Tim Kelly (South Fremantle)
Mature recruit offering both inside and outside capability. Ready to go in 2018, the Sandover 2017 runner up would provide the age we need and a skill set we are lacking. Is this the right place to take him? Not sure but with a couple of clubs hovering, I guess he looked decent value at 26 and so good news. Deemed to be the best mature age recruit in the draft. Fills a void of that age group.

Pick 32 – Dylan Moore (Eastern Rangers/Vic Metro)
Another small forward with proven midfield capability, he is also a very competent midfielder. He has been likened to Tom Scully in his running ability. He is close to AFL ready in endurance and could be knocking on selection in 2018 as a crumbing forward – midfield will take some time to get the physical strength. Another member of the AA U18 team.

Pick 27 - Nathan Kreuger (South Adelaide/SA)
An interesting tall prospect at 196 cm that can play at both ends. Very strong in the contested marking and is also good at ground level. Can play as power forward and on the power forwards so a natural to develop either to replace Gov or JK.

What I like about our first 5 picks is the overall. It addresses midfield options - variety being tough inside, outside pace, smaller forwards who can take rotations and good football brains. We needed smaller forwards to fill a much needed void. Not sure if Miers would have been better than Moore - I do like the flexibility in midfield that Moore provides and either would have been good picks. No pure athletes in sight. Also good to get a quality tall that can develop for the future.

So BOND 007 - something like this would be nice!
I really have to disagree with the Zac Bailey choice, his kicking skill is so far below par that he will drive fans, coaches and teamates mad, will become a real momentum killer.

We need a taller mid who is good over head. Plus another to put on some inside pressure and add some muscle in close.

Two of Constable, Clark, Worpel or Bonar.
I actually think Worpel is the standout of this group, he has dominance written all over him and that's what you want at the coalface.

That's fine but those who are happy with what the club did or only disagree on one pick still are putting their opinion out there

The clips I've seen of Worpel look great - inside bull, on the taller side, plenty of don't argues issued, got plenty of the ball. Kicking seemed reasonable enough for an inside mid.

What are the knocks on him that make him a mid-late second rounder?

You're kind of making it sound like our recruiting and developing has been genuinely poor. I think it's been decent, but can be characterized by an inability to develop elite talent.

We are an upper middle of the table team and our youth is decent without being 'good'.
I think it has been genuinely poor other than our KPDs.

Where we finished on the ladder is kind of irrelevant to the discussion given the number of B22 players we had in the team who were traded in from other clubs.

Higgins looks great FWIW. Bit of Jack Stevens about him. Hands look lightning quick, which can cover whatever sins he has in body shape.

Haha your 2nd post absolutely contradicts your first. Worpel is one of the absolute worst kicks in this draft.

The fact you're comparing Bailey to Mcginnity due to his kicking and then literally your very next post is saying "Get Worpel" is hilarious.

The Allen speculation is ridiculous. I could understand picking him over a much needed mid if he was 200cm and a genuine key forward height, but goes against everything the club has been saying to pick an undersized "key" forward with 13. Just don't see a world in which it happens

It would never happen if I could have a say about it. I have a deep down worry though, that we might choose him at 13.

Funny you compare him to Scott West. I thought exactly the same thing but thought too many people might not remember West.
True it was a while since West played
I think he has a Son available to be drafted this year ,,
