Think with Wellingham gone we need to get another one or two players to run off the hbf, what do people think

13: Hunter Clark
21: Ed Richards
26: Joel Garner
32: Oscar Clavarino
37: Ryley Stoddart
69: Jake Patmore
Why bother - we will have a brand new crop of midfielders to do that

We have Nelson and Watson as our future half backs. And of course Yeo if we choose to play him there.

I just watched some of his videos. He looks like he reads the play well. But he has the worst kicking action I have seen in a long time.
Double handed drop from waist high.
Sorry but no thanks.
Well just watch some footage and focused on his ball drop and saw maybe one double handed ball drop under presure.

He is definitely a point of difference as a winger and can also rest forward. Goal kicking wasnt great in that footage, three misses.

I dont see us using our first two picks on him so someone else probably will get him.

If he is there at 32 that would be a surprise.

Oscar Allen for our first pick would be a huge risk, could end up like Jack Darling or he could be the next Ben Lennon, their U-18s highlights are eerily similar...

He does remind me of Fyfe a bit. Tall and agile and reads the play well. Just his kicking which worries me. It is not an easy thing to change your kicking action when you have grown up with it. Just ask Levi Casboult.
Who reminds me of Fyfe in his running patures and play in packs is Starcavich.

I think he may go a tad earlier but pure speculation of course.
We'll find out in three or so weeks.

I've booked draft day off work...My work colleagues can't believe I've actually booked the day off for it but it's a worth even in my books.
Big one this year.
Wow. But what time of day does it even begin?

Isn't it odd spending time and energy talking about who we are going to draft when we really have **** all idea who the club's going to draft . I love it :)
The first 15 picks are pretty obvious, you could list 20 players and in that have the top 15 covered. Especially this year, next year will be much harder.

Wirra has given that Wilson guy from Fremantle a fair serve ...not like Wirra to get into one of his brothers like that but good on him , " Let see what you made of Brother "

Really in the off season why would Wilson even bother saying such rubbish

I've been told not until 4pm WST, that means I'll only need to book a few hours off.

I could have sworn it was earlier in years gone by.
Back in the days when they only held the draft in Melbourne it was mid afternoon on a Saturday normally.

Since moving the draft away from Vic they’ve made it a weekday and later in the day, probably to appease the eastern states ;)

I think he`s worth a 2nd chance and is keen to have a better cwack at it ..
Winning the sand over medal surely deserves him another crack at it. I find it hard to understand sometimes when we have players on our list that can't even get 15 touches in the WAFL, while there are other players raking up 30+ per game, and don't get a second look.
