'A placenta' is an odd choice for a collective noun for seagulls. I'd have gone with 'a squabble of seagulls at the new stadium'.

Id rather land Swallow from Norths instead of Rockliff but it would need to be for very little...swap for Lamb.Still not opposed to Rockliff depending on how much coin we're paying him.
Inside bull & a massive campaigner from all reports, something we're desperately lacking.

At least Swallow would put his heart into it.
I rather take rockliff as a FA at least he isn't as slow as priddis .Id rather land Swallow from Norths instead of Rockliff but it would need to be for very little...swap for Lamb.

Yeah I guess redden didn't like playing with his good mate? Strikes me as a bloke you could be mates with but have times where you want to hurt him badly on the fieldHe's good mates with Redden though
Rockliff as captain was also part of the reason Brisbane lost so many players the last few years, not sure we want that sort of cancer in the playing group.
Might as well just rename the Priddis thread and keep it goingMaybe, I just think that was an inexperienced captain more than anything.
He's a bull around the contest and is capable around goals, we could do a lot worse this off season than pick up a mature age midfielder that isn't going to cost us any draft picks.

Didn't say anything about him being plodder (but hey, just maybe the reason why people think Priddis is a plodder is because he is the slowest player in the league), but why would we want to pay $1 mil per season, probably on a 5 year contract, for a guy who will be 28 in the first year of his contract and brings with him a very similar style of game to the the guy who just left? Especially when the guy is reportedly part of the reason why so many young players left the team he captained and we're trying to rebuild with young players. We could maybe instead learn our lesson and build a more balanced and even midfield without an old fashioned setup that doesn't work anymore? Or yeh, go ahead and sign the guy and we'll wade through another 10 years of mediocrity.Would be the same even if we picked up a genuine superstar in Patrick Cripps
Unless you're 6,5 with line breaking speed, kick a goal every game and hit up 50 metre darts then you're a plodder.

Sorry, I'll try and explain another way.Not interested for that price, obviously.
Priddis in 14/15 was very good, i'd be stoked if Rockliff gave us similar output.
Which Rockliff could be apart of.
Not sure how you've come to that conclusion.
Rockliff is shit and I don't want him anywhere near this team.

. Just think he would be good at 500-700k, on a 3-4 year deal. Agree to disagree though.Honestly I could see it being the type of move the club would make, imo it would just be the wrong one though. Taking my personal opinion of Rockliff out of the equation I think it'll just create the same situation we have had for the last few years where we rely on one guy to get the ball out to the rest of the team, which doesn't work anymore.Right, that would've saved a lot of time. Just think he would be good at 500-700k, on a 3-4 year deal. Agree to disagree though.
Ultimately it depends which way the club wants to go in terms of doing a full rebuild or trying to win one with Kennedy still in reasonable shape.
Personally I think we wait for the next batch of delistings and then we make our move. Sure to be some gems we can rehabilitate, works every time none of the time. Why do the same unrealistic and/or gimp names keep being thrown up?
Rockliff, Andrew Swallow FFS, Scott Thompson?
Ellis Yolman and Kamdyn is where we need to hedge our bets![]()

for a bloke that may win the Brownlow?Didn't Hawthorn trade away their first round pick this year last year?
