we seem to have a habit of over-persisting with kids, we move a lot of them to the rookie list but how many ever come back?

What sort of credibility does this poster have? Happy to hear about posters with credibility but who is DPS!

Just some bloke on the drafts and trading board who goes out and watches some games. He's no different to Quigley, Knightmare or Chris25, although he's newer and has less clout. I like him because he doesn't guard his opinions and he updates his rankings all the time, which appeals to my teenage brain.

Brayshaw and Clark both have good speed, Brayshaw more so. It would be great to land one of those guys plus a quality slider.

Suggested on the Rockliff FA thread we do a deal with the Lions, offer Rockliff a 4 year deal on coin that lands them either pick 2 or 3 as compo, which is slightly overs for Rockliff. They agree to trade in Masten + Wellingham for their 2nd pick. If we need to throw in our 3rd do it.

Lions 2nd would be like pick 20.

Lions get either pick 1 and 2 or 2 and 3 plus Masten, Wellingham and our 3rd pick 45ish.

We pay overs for Rockliff, no longer have Mastens contract and get pick 20ish.

Win / win / win / win.

As for his age, well, if we aren't getting a flag pre-Kennedy retiring and Naitanui in his prime (if he can get there post knee) when will we get one? Plenty of culling this year, we can spare a spot for an older FA.
