I have never really rated Masten as much of a player, always felt he was too soft and too new age w a n k for this old dinosaur. But the constant crap some of our guys cop from so called supporters (tongue in cheek or not) pi$$es me to tears. Some of you "campaigners"(vomit) need a good kick in the ar$e.

Masten will have a big year. Average 23.6 possessions, play 20 games,kick .7 goals per game in the seniors.
With our ball winning mid stocks being elevated with the arrival of Mitchell and hopefully an improved redden masten will be one of the main beneficiaries

To be fair, 2015 he had a solid year.
Just wait til the season starts. I'm just TTHD for the real thing
2012,13 and 15 he had pretty good season. He doesnt impact as much as he should but he does train hard and plays above average. Untill some of our younger players step it up he will be getting more games than not.
I chose Masto as my sponsor because I wanted a challah. With Swift gone, Jones, and now McGinnity gone, it was always gonna be Masto who became the next whipping boy, when in reality there are so many other players that should be dropped before him

Who? I'd put him on the same level as Hill, Lecras and Butler as far as being dropped, hopefully young players come through and take all of their places in the best 22 this year.
Mate come on. Put your Masto hate aside for a minute. Masto reminds me of Stanton. A good solid hard working role player. He won't win a game of his own boot but does his job. Hill and Lecca are definitely out before him. Butler I like but he will be dropped for different reasons.

It's not hate, most of what I say about him is just to give you the shits, but I think he's consistently a below average AFL player. I would rarely have him in my top 10 for a game and I think he's one of the midfielders in our team we could improve on, hopefully with one of the younger guys coming through.

My slandering of him is because it's my opinion that he is shithouse and shouldn't be in the team. The coaches talk about flexibility, he isn't. I rated him in 2013, but the game has gone past him, much like it did with SSelwood. I've seen it at training this preseason, and he sucks. He's constantly being told he's doing the wrong thing by players and coaches and doesn't see it.
To me he plays football for the title of being a footballer as opposed to loving football. He likes the perks associated with it. He's had 10 years now and legit thats a great career, he's set himself up but his time is up. Not many get a game let alone 150+.
Marsden is that "experienced" WAFL Ressies player that your Ammo club recruits. He thinks he's hot shit, he has the skills under no pressure of training, but he actually sucks.
