I'm sorry, what?

Our first pick has dropped from a top ten pick (when we were having the discussions about McGovern) down to 13 and could conceivably drop another two spots if we win the semi final. McGovern's value is probably in that 15-20 range so naturally it is closer to his market value.

I would rather keep the pick particularly if it stays in the top 15 (speaking hypothetically of course as the deal is off).

Would only consider Matera if LeCras retires (don't want both on the list) but even then my interest is minimal.

Mitch McGovern isn't even close to being worth pick 13 or any pick in the first round for that matter :tearsofjoy: He's staying at Adelaide to be the fifth best forward in the team

Josh Schache wont be at Brisbane next season evidently ...Richmond keen with their Late first round pick .

Everything coming up Rosie for Tigers , could be a dynasty for Tigers .

Don't think Schache is much chop though. Just like McCartin before him

Some super highly rated KPFs just don't seem that great at the next level

Really feel for Brisbane if this is the case though.

Newscorp reporting he's out the door, Fairfax reporting he's going nowhere.

Contracted number 2 pick from 2 years ago !
easly worth a 5-8 pick and some . I dont think brisbane would take a late 1st . Maybe both richmonds 1sts . He probably has a decent salary too that the Tigers would have to take on .

Disagree. Has shown more than someone like Yeo did at the time of being traded and he went for 28.

Discounting his ability based upon his rank at Adelaide is silly. He plays as a third tall there and would be the same here. Betts being a better forward is of no relevance.

It's a moot point anyway as any trade is off and I am not suggesting pick 13 would have been a good deal from our perspective.

Yeah I guess we'll just agree to disagree on more things than one haha

His strong finish to the season would have seen his stocks rise. He averaged nearly 3 goals a game in the last five games. By comparison Yeo was more of an unknown.

But yes, agree to disagree.

Doesn't Yeo at 28 look like a bloody steal now?

While Kochie's timing may have been awry - I cannot argue with his sentiment.

“We don’t want players who are living their dream just by playing AFL footy. We want players who want to win a premiership,” Koch said.

“If they’re not prepared to win a premiership for this club, we basically don’t want them. Let us know and we’ll trade them.”

Sometimes I wonder if some of our players, Masten, Schofield & Wellingham have lost sight of the fact they are, first and foremost, footballers.

We will need to replace 5 main list spots maybe more if we are thinking about trading Masten or Schofield for picks. There are possible retirements in Wellingham & Lecras too. I would delist all but 2 rookies which means an influx of around 10 players. We can't really afford to axe Lamb who has actally shown a bit. Play him as a third tall in attack. Just needs to get fitter maybe slim down as he won't really be a KPP

isn't the problem that he hasn't actually shown much, particularly in regards to effort?

David Armitage could be out the door but I just googled him and he's 30 next year. Can't believe he's that old.

Could we lure Jake Stringer perhaps?
Been lots of speculation that he wants out of the Bulldogs or that they should trade him.

Ricky Nixon tweets that Luke Dahlhaus is unhappy at the Bulldogs. Admittedly, this is about as dubious a source as you could imagine - but that's a player I'd be interested in. Lycett as part of a trade?
