What would you expect trade wise?

There's a poster on here (few pages back) that has the inside word and advised that he's about to sign on for another year. Moving into his own place in Perth, so seems to be settling in.

Not much hence he is probably worth more to us than anyone that we would pick with a punt on with a fourth rounder , so unless he categorically wanted out I would think we will keep.

Has the tools just needs not apply them consistently.

To answer your question a late third rounder and realistically thats not going to happen.

Exactly what we need, a small fwd that can kick a bag. If we can get him cheapish would be a good get

I would love them to end up with Mayne, Matera and Reece Conca .
Three WA boys returning home.

Now that would be a Christmas present delivered early .

Saints 2 first rounders (7&8?) will be dangled at GWS for Kelly before they undoubtedly try to shop 1 around.

Unless he nominates a club (or re-signs) everyone will be holding their cards til the Kelly deal is done.

You think?

I think Gaff is showing a bit as he becomes injury freer - he is a keeper
Meh, still too one sided to be completely off limits imo. If the right trade comes around we should make it, especially if he has actually indicated he wants to go home next year.

If Gaff nets us a young bloke who is better than Masten/Hutchings + a top 10 pick, it suggests an overall improvement in the 22. Gaff's not a gamebreaker, he's a hard running outside mid that needs help on defense because he smashes himself so hard. Shuey's the gamebreaker. Yeo's almost there but better suited as a rebounder.

You could, in theory, get Schofield to slim down, and take over the wing role in Gaff's absence. You'd probably lose a little in getting up and down the ground, but you'd gain a marking target.

As for Lamb - I think his future lies in being used like Lynch does at Adelaide. Has all the necessary pieces to become a very good rebounding defender that would be capable of zoning key forwards.

Lynch plays centre half forward? You mean Lever?
