With regards to gaff I agree with a couple of good inside mids would change the dynamics less pressure on him

Whats wrong with our delivery? We are pretty good bombing it in high and long which is exactly how Ryan likes it.:D

Just think of the Batman and Robin team Priddis and Ryan could have made.;)

seriously stop bringing up batman ! He is contracted and doesn't want to come to Perth . I also heard he has just bought a nice apartment in Gotham city

I would never play Masten again we are going backwards again if we keep him ,Gold Coast would be looking for experienced players

I know it's only one or two games and ryan kicked a lot of goals and takes the big marks but the last two grand finals under pressure from a semi dockers backline against Subi he has struggled and had little forward pressure and not a lot of chase it maybe why he hasn't been drafted as yet

Sounds like a rookie pick and one Lyons wouldnt be interested in.
 
Bit of a catch 22 regarding Gaff though. He's the cream midfielder and a gun with a decent midfield around him, never going to be the star man but an important cog. Problem is it's going to be hard to get the rest of the midfield sorted before jk and nic are gone, without trading him out.

Next year we would get band 1 for gaff. Probably between pick 6 and 16. Best guess of around pick 11.

It's a much better draft so I think it's pretty unlikely that the pick would be worse than pick 8 this year.

I think we would be silly to trade him for pick 8 unless he was desperate to leave.

If he did go I would want Acres in the deal.

Norths saying they would trade pick 4 for the right return. They are rebuilding and one pick doesn't rebuild a list.

Should we trade Gaff and get say pick 8 + something from Saint Kilda how about this.

Option 1: Eagles trade 13 + 30 + 2018 2nd for Norths pick 4 and pick 44.

We then have picks 4, 8, 44 + 48 plus whatever else we get from Saint Kilda plus any other picks from trades.

Option 2: is Eagles trade Masten, 13 + 2018 2nd for Gold Coasts picks 19 + 24 + 37.

We then go to the draft with picks 8, 19, 24, 30, 37, 48 plus whatever else we get from Saint Kilda plus any other picks from trades.

I like option 2 better.
