One of those rangy tall, athletic flanker types. Think he had a 39 possession game in the TAC this year and a 5g/28p game at some point which has seen his stocks soar.

If he puts it together as a midfielder he could be a serious player.

Has been in the mix for the number 1 pick for the last 2 years.other.more contested players have moved past Stephenson this year but lately he has added more of an inside game .definitely should be a consideration for us just whether he can continue to be an inside force against bigger bodies as he's very lean

Did you see much of Broad play for Swan Districts in 2015? I didn't, but see he averaged 20 disposals and came fourth in their fairest and best.

Did you see much of Broad play for Swan Districts in 2015? I didn't, but see he averaged 20 disposals and came fourth in their fairest and best.

I did see him play and was impressive in traffic ...think this might be his second time drafted and now a Premiership player .

He was in the top three for kms covered by almost half time. Regards being good in traffic, I saw a bit of play at CHB in the second half today when was cool in traffic and got a clever kick away.

Riley Bonner is another quick, classy looking player from the 2015 draft that would have been a good get. Not to worry though.

What you say is correct, plus he had a stress fracture in one of his feet which is always a red flag for recruiters.

I don't believe second time drafted, was overlooked early because of glaring deficiencies in his game. Went away that summer at Swans and came back a completely different player. I remember making comments to many about him after 3 or 4 rounds into that season and how someone must have taken him out the back and 'toughened' him up. Always had the athletic capabilities.

One thing I noticed with Richmond this year is that they have a bunch of guys who may not be super talents (with some obvious exceptions) but they're all absolute competitors. We have a load of bruise-free blokes who show up every second or third week. Won't win anything that way.

To be fair, the problem appears to have been recognised to some extent with some guys getting pushed out.

Hopefully the problem gets addressed in the coming drafts.

100%. Last 2 premiers are full of scrappers but it seems thats what you need to take it out.

Except that same team last year was one of the worst tackling and softest teams going around. One or two tweaks and things can turn around very quick

Bonner would make me very happy too. Apparently great in the wet and tight situations. Doesn't mind a hard ball get. Think he'd be a bit stiff if he missed out
