His Vic Country game was his best in the carnival. He was given more midfield time and I suspect was more comfortable st the faster pace by this game

An indictment on our list managers that we will turn over about a quarter of our list this year and there's been no impassioned plea to retain any of them. How does a list even get into such a piss-poor state? As a fan pinning all our hopes of the dozen or so players we haven't seen in WCE colours yet, yay!

Starcevich has a bit of man-child about him which is always risky to read too much into IMO - You play developed men at AFL level.. Not sure we should blow our load over 1 game of highlights?

Saying that, it showed a handy ball winner who seemed pretty settled in traffic. Has he got a body of form behind him?

C. England - 3rd rd
J Patmore - 3rd rd
K Hayden - 2nd/3rd (combine results will boost)
B. Starcevich - 4th
B. Ainsworth - 4th
B. Banfield - 3rd
M. Guelfi - 4th

I think Ben Miller's stocks will have risen after the draft combine too. If we can get a few extra 3rd rounders I would be happy to take Midfielders with our first two picks and then Miller, Hayden, England and Banfield. Have you guys got anything on Patrick Farrant? He was touted as smokey by the West, but I haven't heard anything about him since then.

C. England - 4th to rookie because he has not shown enough hurt factor
J Patmore - 4th to rookie similar to England
K Hayden - 3rd to 4th - his athleticism is great but so was Ash Smith
B. Starcevich - 4th to rookie
B. Ainsworth - rookie to undrafted due to his poor kicking
B. Banfield - 3rd is about right
M. Guelfi - rookie to undrafted
Ben Miller - I had him pre combine as a 4th to rookie but the combine should see him jump to main draft and he may even go as early as 3rd as the draft is not great if you want a tall.
Farrant - he may be worth a free hit as a rookie but I have not got enough insight into him to justify anything higher. Others may know more.

Meanwhile Naughton, Allen and Taylor will all be drafted. First 2 in later first round (although Naughton may surprise earlier) and Taylor late second to third round.

Only my thoughts. Obviously if others see games I didn't, they will feel differently

While Banfield's kicking is not elite, most inside mids are under a load more pressure and hence have a lower efficiency. If he was playing at East Perth, we would of been calling for him to be given AFL time. He coped brilliantly in the seniors and looks a better prospect than Mutimer and Karpany and on a par at least with Partington.

I have only seen some highlights of Kelly that was posted on here recently, Extremely average, particularly if they were highlights. Ah Chee , would

I have only seen a highlights package of Kelly posted on here the other day, I sincerely hope that was just a glimpse because he was dead average. Ah Chee for a packet of chips ? Runner up in the SANFL ( A stronger comp than the WAFL ) Played a lot less games, was clearly the best player in the comp, younger, bigger and stronger than Kelly. Takes a good grab and has a real weapon with his handball. I have a feeling he will be a steal for us, if we get him. 3RD rounder, good get, 4th rounder, absolute steal.
