We struggle to attract WA talent.
Over the last two years, Cam McCarthy, Brad Hill, Tom Mitchell, Joel Hamling, Shane Kersten, Jarrod Pickett, Jaeger O'Meara, Harley Bennell and Chris Yarran have requested trades.

We have only lured back Jetta and were never in contention for any of the others.

Not saying we would have wanted all of those players (even if most would have improved our list at the very least), but to not lure any of those players seems terrible on our part. I don't buy the argument that we are better at keeping things quiet and in fact did have a genuine crack at trading them in.

Would love to know if it's the WCE who don't chase these players (in which case, why not?) or are these players rejecting the eagles as an option (and again, why?).

Thoughts on giving claye beams a rookie spot? Has had a fair amount of injuries but I used to love him. Haven't seen much of him in the last few years. Would be far better than masten and wellingham imo

Used to love him? Surely you are somehow thinking of dayne beams. Claye is a shit truck of the highest order and an even poorer version of masten

If i were a player agent - and i had a young out of contract midfielder i would look at our joke of a midfield development where we stick them on a ff and in the wafl

And being that i make a percentage of their money - i would heavily advise them to go elsewhere. Somewhere they can develop in the position they play - hopefully do well and make more money next contract.

This is the first year that we can develop and play mids in position - hopefully things change

Elliot Yeo was withdrawn from the All Australian team by West Coast because of injury he carried through the finals ...not sure he needs surgery or not but needs to keep off the lower leg injury .

Also West Coast want five picks in the top 50 and that is what they want ...fair to say that a third rounder for Ah Chee wont happen if this is correct with Haggers could easily not be 100% correct . Haggers reckons swapping pick 13 for two picks in the twenties from GC .

I have heard the Petrie to North Beach move from 'community sources'. I understand he has to get AFL Coaching Accreditation before he can be an AFL Assistant.

Talk is pick 13 for bombers two picks in the 20's so they can use 13 for stringer. Feel this is eastern states talk though. Why would west coast do this?
